out of interest was it the pad or the backing that snapped?
perhaps the glue used to set it in, or the moulding of the pad was too loose?
Mine was the actual pad.. but the backing was like half snapped
Happened to me aswell Mr. Bazzacovich. But i didnt hurt myself. brake went kinda spongy went to check the brake and my pad fell out. haaa

I was riding down my hill, pulled brake, heard a big bang, stopped, looked all over bike, couldn't find anything wrong. Got back on, did a hop, brake just sliped, was on my arse... looked and there was like half a pad left :LDing ding ding. We have a weener.

brake just slips, you get it all over your tires etc... Not worth it.
Get a new TPA and set your brake up right, and it will be beast

Think it will be full Kamel spec... Far as I'm aware no ones ever changed much on one, not much point really..
Depending on the condition, £850 sounds ok, try get him to like £750 though..

Isn't water far more suitable for DOT systems than mineral ones? I'm sure I read that if not DOT is available, worst comes to worst you can use water and it'll be fine, just have a low boiling point, whereas water is never recommended for mineral systems but we all just do it anyway.
Meh, I don't even know, I just stick to the rule of using water in maggies, and the proper fluid in everything else.

I didn't think Kieran rode a Manus at any point? I was under the impression he'd only really had their longer frames.
And again, how did Rockman 'f**k Kieran about'? It seems reasonably unfair that you two are willing to shit-talk Rockman without actually saying what they've done. It'd also be nice to hear the "other" side to the story too...
He did ride a Manus, I'm 100% sure I saw a vid of him riding an orange one...
You can't say rockman f**ked him about, he a got a few £400 frames out of them, probably some other bits too, think before you post!
And on a final note, Rockman are beautiful frames to ride, but the manufacturing standards definitely don't match the £420 you'd be paying. Your paying for the name, that's all.
