  1. If you download and use firefox, it has an inbuilt spell checker: It's saved my atrocious spelling many a time: Firefox
  2. that's a brilliant site - top link
  3. Hello - Brian here. Motorbike racing/trackdays is my main hobby, and if I'm honest I saw Danny's video on youtube and thought: Damn... I may be old (actually 36 isn't that old, but it probably is here!) and my BMX days long gone - but I'm going to get a trials bike and try some tricks - even if they are just pathetic copies of Danny's amazing shizzle! Proper intro here; http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....=134775&hl=
  4. I think I'm okay with e-bay - I've checked the retail prices, and indeed some of the cheaper prices at shops like http://www.ashcycles.com/power/ - and I wouldn't bid above half retail price.
  5. Most of the folks on that forum are midlands, north and even scotland: I don't tend to go to Brands, its too expensive, and I would rather travel 4 hours to an amazing circuit like Cadwell, or even 5 hours to the new Anglesey. If I want a quick fix, I tend to go to Snett which is only 2 hours away... there are some scary fast corners at Snett! great fun...
  6. hello j-maul... great minds and all that! In terms of images, first put your picture on photobucket.com, or some other place you can host your image, then in your post, click this button ... it will ask you the location of your picture, which will be called "direct link" on photobucket... then jobs a good un. I'll look a bit daft on a 20 incher - but I reckon like you it will be easier to lob about... 'tis funny, I was speaking to tartybikes today, and they recommended first a 24" (for a over a grand!), then the 20" for having fun on. Decisions, decisions... Which tracks do you get to? If you are into trackdays alot, have a look at http://www.trackdayriders.co.uk/tdr/forum/default.asp. There are always a bunch of us at many trackdays, and a fair few have started racing this year. Cheers, Brian
  7. Ta - budget is about £300 new, but would prefer a used bike with a better spec for less money - then I have more money to feed my bike racing habit! I'm keeping an eye out on e-bay and here. At the 26" size, I also saw the MAD Phase 1.2 new, which I can probably get locally, and it looks nice, but I don't know enough to judge if the spec is good enough or not...
  8. found the wiki - top stuff: I think I'll look for a 20" mod...
  9. Hello! Completely new to this trials bike lark, but used to freestyle BMX in my youth (to a pretty crap level!), and my current passion is racing motorbikes. Piccie below... I haven't got a bike yet, but the plan is to quit the gym (which I don't use!) and use the money saved to get a trials bike and pop the odd pathetic wheelie and rolling stoppie in the race paddock. It should keep me flexible and fit enough to clamber about a motorbike at race speed, and be a lot of fun... Any pointers on a good beginners bike for tricks and horsing around, greatly received. Cheers, Brian
