Hi , when i choose my first bike i which i have £250-350 to spend , i see that most bikes in tht range dont come with the silver disk on the front tyre and sometimes the back, but the £350+ bikes do , is this essential and whats the difference? Also what bikes do you recommend to get , and please dont say ebay because iv checked for 2 weeks and theirs rarely bikes which people are willing to deliver, and the pickups are usually 5+ hours away. Im looking for a 20 as i have heard its best for learning on Thanks edit: just found a onza t comp 2008 on ebay , reckon its any good? it dont have the 2 disks either ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...n%3D3%26ps%3D56

Its both, but i just managed to fit it on by taking part of it off, but the tyres aint going up both of them , there like complete flat, i dont know if its a puncture or how to check plus i doubt they got punctures from sitting in a garage for 4 months.

hey i brought a bike pump and tried to fit the end on my air thingy on my Tyre but it wouldn't fit , do i need to buy some sort of end bit for it separately cause that's a piss take.

Im thinking of ordering a bike from tarty bikes, but i need to know whether they come fully assembled if anyone knows, as i think they are shut today due to the bank holiday. if its dependant on size i will probably get a 20" or 24" I dont know how to build a bike :$

Thanks for the help but whats a geo and a bb rise

Hmm i would have thought the 20" would have the same street wise benefits as a 24, as its lighter easy to spin etc, why isn't this the case?

Hi there im looking to buy my first trials bike , i dont know whether to get 24' or 20' , i wanna learn how to hop and sidehop to begin with and then move onto harder things Any suggestions on 20 or 24 and what type of bike i was possible looking at a onza t bird I got around £300 to spend

Hi there, im looking to start trials , i ride with my left foot foward and right behind because with bmx i could jump onto rails which are sideways easier by kicking my foot outwards to get the back to follow my front tyre. With trials and side hopping is this a similar concept, as in alot of vids i see people riding the same as me but liking to hop the opposite way. Also what are brakes used for in trials? thanks
-
Guys its not a backflip its a flair which is a 180 backflip get it right ffs
-
Thanks again, so how do brakes come into trials, what do they help with, also why isn't it possibly to hop on a bmx bike on the back wheel. Also 20 inch or 24 inch as a starter bike?
-
thanks guys , how long does it take to learn how to like hop on your back Tyre, and is this controlled by brakes?

Hi there im looking to start trial biking, as i dont want to continue with bmx as i am getting nowhere. How hard is it to learn trial basics and are there certain aspects which help u learn better quicker, like having muscle etc. How hard is it to learn to balance, i couldnt manual or even keep my tyre up on a bmx If i was to buy a trial bike what influences my decision on 20/24/26 inch, is it my height? I dont know if this helps but im 5 foot 10 inches tall im 10 stone/140 pounds im 117 pounds of muscle mass Is trial biking more about learning tricks or is it more a thing your either good or bad at kinda like bmx. and if i have around £300 to spend what should i get? Thanks
