  5. Wanted: Your Awesome Riding Pics (hi-res)

    Hey guys,

    Just wondering if any of you could help me out by providing me with some images. I'm making a graphic for my showreel that requires some high resolution pics. Here's what I'm looking for:

    - High resolution images, possibly shot on digital SLR

    - The rider to be crisp as possible (no motion blur)

    - Day time shots only really

    - If you're into photoshopping your pics, then the pre-treated version would be best.

    - A variety of riders should you have a few.

    - The whole bike / rider to be in shot

    Not all of these things are crucial, so if you've just got a cool pic you're particularly proud of, send it my way!

    I can't really offer a whole lot in return I'm afraid, just the satisfaction of seeing yourself in a (hopefully) supercool motion graphic, which I will upload once it's done.

    PM if you've got something, I'd really appreciate a hand.

    the surgical gloves might be a good idea- though but yeah I'd imagine it'd be best to take a few pairs out for a longer ride. I can imagine them getting very sweaty. I'll give it a shot though! I've also ordered some of those liquid hand warmer things, couldn't hurt to have them around when my hands numb up.

    Hey guys,

    just got in from a ride today - it's bitterly cold out there. I suffer from pretty bad circulation, and I find that when using my usual, thinner gloves, my fingers get pretty numb and I don't have enough control on my brake levers. Today I was riding with 2 pairs of gloves on, which was both uncomfortable and bulky as you can imagine.

    Just wondering if anyone else out there has any recommendations for a good warm pair of gloves, ideally something not too huge.

    I really don't want to take the usual winter hiatus this year, always sucks to come back to it in the summer to find the skills are pretty rusty.

  10. Got Decent Footage? I'll Edit It!

    Hey guys,

    Ok, so I work full time as video editor and motion graphic designer, and I'm keen to get my hands on some decent footage of good riding to put together just a short vid.

    If you've got fairly good footage of you and your mates riding and fancy a half decent edit with graphics, get in touch and maybe we can sort something out. I'm not up for working with phone recorded footage, or any noisy, poorly lit stuff. But if you can send me tapes / hard drives I'd be up for getting stuck in. (Of course all tapes and drives will come back to you!)

    Access to my workplace means I'm able to use some top equipment and should be able to come up with something good. I'm not saying I'll get time to complete a masterpiece overnight, but it'd be a good little project for me to get working on.

    Let me know if anyone out there's interested!

    Hey everyone.

    I'm Tom. Went out riding last night with Andrew, Joel, Joe, Matt, Matt, Jack, Skoze and Laurence around London for a hardcore night ride session around London. Was an awesome night out. Managed to do this to myself riding Euston-

    2 hours later and I'm out of A+E all stitched up. Guess it's shin pads for me for a while now!

    What else about me? I'm 23, living in London, Elephant + Castle, ride an echo pure with a 3metre wheelbase in need of some serious geo attention.
