I'm new to trials myself but i'd say it's not about your age. Do you feel like the bike is holding you back at all? or do you still feel confident and comfortable on the bike and that you could continue to learn? I started to learn trials on a 24" dirt bike and once i had learned the basics i felt very much that the bike was the main issue with trying to progress.

Looking at getting my first trials specific geometry frame. Seen a bike for sale with a magnesium frame and was wondering what experience people have with these frames. On assumption it's lighter but possibly weaker? My concern is i have the basics of trials but i am still learning so i guess im more likely to knock my frame and dont want to panic about denting it all the time. Are my concerns validated? or are they stronger than im giving them credit? Also do people think a lighter bike would be more helpful to learn on? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I currently use Evo2 adapters i'd also recommend getting a brake booster there is one specific for the EVO2 adapters. It will make it much more rigid and feel less spongy!
