  1. I couldn't find much on the subject, but anyway I have some money from christmas and was considering an xbox or ps3.

Have you seen any good deals around? any sales?

I have about £120 for a lot but don't really want to spend any more. So looks like it will have to be an xbox at that price.

    Any info please.

NES, atari 2600, N63... one of those

  2. pretty much, but if you keep the lever vertical and don't lose any fluid, you won't need to bleed. (if some fluid does come out, just drip some from the cut piece of hose back in)

LOL hey i just realized! your ali c from tarty bikes! :D haha

  3. Right...

as far as I know, Magura disc brakes use the same olives as HS33s? Not sure though.

What you have to do, is unscrew the hose from the lever, chop it down to the size you want, attach the fittings again ( they will have fallen off when you chop hose) then put the olive on (you will need a new one, £1 from LBS) fit the brake up, and rebleed.

Lol thanks, it came with spare olives and the end attatchment thing, but i wasnt sure if the person the magura websit re-bled it after or what....it didnt say about bleeding after,

aparently if you do it carefully enough you dont need to bleed, but ill follow your instructions and if the brake is shit, ill bleed them again

    thanks for the advice :)

  4. So, i got a magura julie HP disk for front, but the cable comes in one universal size,

im pretty sure you dont, but just to be on the safe sade..

do you have to bleed them before you cut it down? or does all the oil sit in the lever and stuff?

  5. Lol i love mine! :D

even though i smashed it when it fell out of my pocket bombing down a hill on my bmx at like 20mph.....but its still works!

i would say defo get one(y) they come in very handy sometimes aswell

  6. i got so hydraulics and a single speed kit :)

but i cant put them on yet because its in the bike shop getting the wheel trued and single speed kit put on because i dont have a freewheel tool or spoke wrench

then for my bmx i got some bars and pedals and traded in my xbox 360 to pay towards a federal freecoaster

and i got tool kit off my sisters

    :)(Y)

  7. order one that looks good and that you like, and you probably wont mind wearing it, i ordered my 1st helmet since cycling proficiency yesterday! lol! but its really nice and i keeps my hair out of my eyes.

altho to be honest the main reason i bought it is just because the local skate park makes you wear a helmet when i ride bmx

but i will wear it for trials too, a couple of weeks ago i tried to side hop a wall roughly 4 feet high on my unicycle, got the cranks on then slipped off and hit the back of my head on a wall next to it,wasnt very fun if im totally honest

  8. get yourself on ebay, theyre 130 delivered, im getting one after crimbo :)

i already have! worth every penny! when you look past the brakes, they suck, but you can easily upgrade to a avid single digit 7 and some decent pads make it like 7 times better for only

    20 quid a pair

im gunna get a hs33 front back with an evo II adapter and some new forks so i can put a hs33 on the fornt because i can get a rim set with a front disk hub and a rear rim brake set and im getting a single speed kit

  9. Well I'm not going to complain. It's you who's brake is going to stick just before a drop or gap and make you land on your face. :)

Seriously what JT said is the best way to do it. Also, does it not make a bit of a mess melting it and putting it on your finger and that?

Lol well 1its not sticky, i only put a lil bit on and i let it dry before riding, also you can just wash it off your finger when your done

  10. LOL..Mr zogs sex wax for all your rimming needs :$ sorry i had to say it.

this stuff in the wet is horrid my mate used it on his drum sticks and spilt water on to them the stuff went all white and slippy. it also drys like hair wax after a few hours which i think would cause nightmares with the rim and pads

Lol yah i put tar on today!! therre wss some building work at school on the road( replacing a cable) and i stole some tar that was on this pipe and put it on my irms, works really good!!

btw for people who are like clueless hoew to get it or put it on just like scoop it up with like a penny or something( or if its hard melt it with a lighter) then put a bit in your finger ONLY A BIT! and rub it around so the rim is brown and it doesn't matter if its a bit patchy cuz the brake pads even it out pretty much

  11. I can't find a video but i can say that obviously it works with V-Brakes for sure.

Maybe other person that have more fluent english can explain you how to put tar in your rims.

lol how do you get it off?? do you like melt it with a lighter and scoop it up? or just cjhizel it off? and how do oyu apply it? does it have to be like warm and soft or just like hard as you would find it on the road
