  1. you need to learn how to pedal kick forward. once you'v learned how to do that, you just pedal kick and then tuck the bike under you to get onto stuff like you would do if you where doing a bunny hop.

check out the trash zen website but also the ryan leech tutorials

you really need to learn all the basics, rocking, hopping and track standing before you can progress much otherwise you'l never be able to keep your balance properly.

  2. If you jam both your brakes on rock forward a bit and then back first, it's easier to get your front wheel up. That's how I learnt, used to practise on the grass in the park just in case I fell off. Took me a week to learn to do 3 pedal hops in a row but it takes months to refine your balance.

Defiantly check out the Ryan Leech trials tutorial videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cuo7BslZXz8

And also trashzen trials tutorial website should be your first port of call. Other then that just keep practising till you get it, others can show you but you really have to work it out for yourself.

  3. Onza T-pro get one off ebay pretty cheap, decent bike lots of people start out on them. or if you want cheaper still onza rip I started out on one, they do the job I started out on one, only thing is they have v brakes and not HS33.

If you buy new you'd be lucky to get a third of the original price if you sell, and for the same price you could get a second hand bike of a much higher spec.

  4. I just got hold of a 06 Zoo Pitbull frame of ebay, all seems to be ok, but when I fitted Magur HS33 brakes on the back, I found that the cranks knock against the brakes every pedal stroke.

I have adjusted the brakes in as far in as they can go without completely locking up the wheel but the cranks still hit them an ideas? has anyone else had a similar problem?

  5. the way I started was to practice 'rocking' ride along put both ur brakes on and do an endo then start rocking front to back wheel with both your brakes jammed on.

once you'v got that try turning on your front wheel this is that best way to get off a wall ect when u first start. and another thing you can do with this which is cool is rock walking where you do a 180 on the front to a 180 on the back, defo check out all the ryan leech tutorials.
