Still don't have a clue how people can actually whole heartedly believe in a god/gods/religion.
It's a simple explanantion for people to things that have no answer yet, most things in history have been deemed to have been caused by God until actual explanantions have been found.

Quick question about the battery in the macbook's.
What do you all do to maintain your battery?
If most of the time im using my macbook at home, is it okay just to leave the battery out and just have it connected via the plug all the time instead?

Its like stuck on the open screen asking me to stick with iSquint or get visual hub, when i try and quit it, it just makes the 'action not permitted' noise

Try going into the activity monitor, then highlighting Isquint and press 'Stop process'.
If that doesnt work, then you can use terminal to quit the process, but i dont know what you need to put in to kill the process, but im sure the other guys that have the mac know how in here will help you out.

I was lookin for some free video conversion software, and downloaded somethin called iSquint. It wont work or close, how can i kill it? lol.

Isquint works fine for me and is a really good little app.
Or you could try visualhub, but i think you have to pay for that, or get it via other means

It pays to do your research unfortunately. The updates have been rumoured for a long time now.
Meh, I bought a PowerPC Powerbook about a month before the Intel ones came out.
For macbooks i dont think so?
For Macbook pro's yes, everyone was saying, no dont bother waiting for the Macbook's as they have only recently had an update (even if it was only small) and arent likely to have one until May, i did do my research, ah well, its still good anyway!
EDIT @ below: Yeh youre right, computer technology changes to quickly to even keep up to date, i still cant believe they have 512mb graphics card in the macbook pro, surely your testicles would fry from the temperature if its on your lap

Quick question for you guys that drive to help me put this into perspective, if hes gone two doors to far down a street (unless the houses were very far apart) and needed to go back, i dont drive, but wouldnt that be accelerating very quickly to reach 15mph in such a short distance anyway? As IMO that seems like you were going extremely quickly whilst in reverse and to be honest, if there was anyone crossing the road, then they wouldnt really have stood any chance.

For some reason i cant connect to the itunes store, im getting the error message:
"Itunes could not connect to the Itunes store. The host is down. Make sure your network connection is active and try again"
My network is active, otherwise i wouldnt be posting this, so i thought maybe it was just for the fact that the itunes store might actually be down, so i went another computer i have and i works fine.
So now i dont know why i cant get on the itunes store, im assuming its something to do with ports being blocked for some reason ? If so how do i unblock them.
EDIT: Heres that xbench thing, bearing in mind this is only a Macbook!
EDIT EDIT: Yup Tomm you were right, it was blocking port 80, yet for some reason managing to block the itunes store only and not any other webpage, i have no idea why either as i havent changed anything.

I reckon they both take some kind of responsibility into what has happened and feel sorry for them both as they are in a right shitter of a situation.
The only thing that gets me is that if this was vice versa, some random old guy had reversed into a guy that we know, we would all be the first to start going "why was he going so fast, why wasnt he looking where he was reversing properly, he shouldnt be driving'
We dont know what really happened and cant make any kind of real judgement, so its all just scepticism really.

I have read a few decent war books but i can't recall the titles for some reason... I think one of them was Pegasus Bridge which was good read if a little short.
Yup, they are books by Stephen E. Ambrose and the pegasus bridge one is the shortest, i've read D-Day (IMO the best one), Pegasus Bridge, Citizen Soldiers and Band of Brothers which is what the series was based on. All great informative books on WWII if youre into that kind of thing!

Maybe we're expanding due to a 'White Hole', a theory that is the opposite to a black hole by, instead of sucking stuff in, pushes it out...
I doubt it would be 'a' white whole, plus there are many black holes in the universe and the whole universe isnt being sucked into a singularity so....there must be something else that would cause the expansion

when are movies available to rent off the itunes store in the uk?
As far as i'm aware, its still "Sometime this year", although apparently if you register one of your cards with a valid american residence then you can access the US version of itunes and download the movies as they do not do it via your IP, rather where youre billing information is.

Yet another question!
If i have created a sparse image, then the files inside it exceed the limit i placed on it, is there a way of making the image larger? As i dont want to have to create another one.

Ditto, was my mums birthday last week, plus the fact that im broke = a card and an awful CD that she wanted.
