  1. Tnn pads are the best I've ever used, give so much confidence! They also make the most amazing noise and all!
  2. Have you got a grind on your rim? If so it could be pads resonating through the slave cylinders and passing through to the forks the vibrations causing sound. It happens with v brakes and discs too. Nothing to worry about!
  3. Any bike shop sells them or the large internet cycle retailers you see in the cycling glossy mags! As said before they really arent expensive.
  4. I would say the pads are contaminated, try cleaning with disc brake cleaner.... or just get new pads!
  5. I am swaying that way, but then have to decide what colour... They are pimp.....
  6. I was hoping for advice, I already have a Hope pro 2 single speed, and I was wondering if the King version is a better hub? Is it worth upgrading to? Or keeping the hope, I've had a King before and liked it! Dunno? What are your opinions?
  7. I do have a problem with clearance on my Czar but presumably that'll mean that there is less adjustment? I was going to bleed with water, and get Goodridge braided houses too, if I did this I presume you shall be able to stop leaking? Oh well shall give it a go, if they're no good then I can always pass them on on here! Incidently I tried using a Monty hose splitter when trying to set up my RB Design lever, anyone had any problems with these also?
  8. I am thinking of buying the echo tr slave cylinders, I was wondering what eople thought, any better than the mag ones? All feedback would be appreciated before I spend my heard earned cash!
  9. Before bleeding, a trick I always found that worked is to zip tie the brake lever over night, this for some reason draws the air up to the resevoir.... It worked for me, and a lot of downhillers did it when I was in Morzine. Give it a go.....
  10. New to Falmouth... but I shall be up for a ride... meet new people new spots! Names James Hadfield by the way.
  11. Excelent, will do that, I'm currently unpacking boxes etc hopefully have everything done by the weekend. Up for a sess sat or something?
  12. I think there is a well summed up argument for wearing a helmet, I have knocked myself out a few times wearing a helmet, what would I have happened had I not worn a helmet? I have a different helmet for each dicipline I ride, over the top maybe but it's important to be safe, especially having seen the effects of a crash my friend had, he was an xc rider, got knocked off his bike landed on his face. I went to go see him in hospital and I did not recognise him, his face was gone, his parents had to take a picture so that the doctors could reconstruct his face! The only thing that saved him was a helmet! Trials is a calculated risk, minimise the risk further with a helmet!
  13. Hi, my name is James (25) I have just relocated to Falmouth having lived in Farnham, Surrey for all of my life, after a 5 year lay off I have got back into trials in a big way. I would like to find other like minded riders to show me some good spots to ride, to hang out and have a laugh! Is all a bit of an effort having moved away from everyone i know etc, so need to make friends fast! I ride a 26" Czar which I love, best bike ive had in my opinion. I don't what really else to write but feel free to get back to me.... James
