  1. Its better to wear a helmet and not need it, than need a helmet and not wear it!! That's my motto! ALWAYS WEAR HELMETS!!!!
  2. To start off with, I focused on my balance (learning to track stand), then I began learning to hop on my back wheel. Then I focused on bike control (placing your bike accurately) then from there I picked up everything else pretty quickly and was able to gap, tap, side hop and my bike control was improving. I learnt these skills on very small objects and over a couple of years I have practised and now can use the skills to get onto bigger objects. Hope this will help you start off! Stephen G
  3. Nice vid. I liked your riding and i enjoyed it. I also like you bike. Stephen G
  4. You said you were getting back into trials after a 20 year gap. How old are you? Stephen G
  5. Nice thats about the highest ive dropped. The highest ive dropped is about 6ft. It was really sketchy because i dropped it with a dodgey brake and almost lost it. Stephen G
  6. I started on a t-pro which is a brilliant bike to start off with. I would deffinatly recomend it. Stephen G
  7. It will be much cheaper to put a front freewheel on it.
  8. I think you should wear some skate shoes because they have a flat bottom to them and improves grip. I fell off quite badly a few weeks ago because my skate shoes were wet so i decided to wear my school P.E shoes so I could ride. it was a bad idea. I hurt my ribs so I couldn't ride for about 5 days. So I think you should wear skate shoes.
  9. i would say that mod would be easier to learn on because they are lighter and easier to move around and spin. i ride a mod bike and i am learning on it fine. i hope this advice will help you make a desicion.
