  1. There's more power going through the drivetrain, so if your tyre slips or your chain snaps, you've had it. It also means that the likelyhood of you going over the bars is higher.

Your also putting added stress on your chain which is causing it to be more likley to snap. OUCH

  2. Top notch Mike, improving every ride now!

    Good stuff dude,

One thing, dont let go of your back brake to early when you are abouts to take off on a gap (you roll backwards). Looks like your abouts to go over the bars everytime.

    Keep up the good work!

  3. Have you only used the smooth type of snail cams? The TR's knurling means they're pretty win in terms of not slipping round (Y)

No ive never used smooth, sometimes the knotches were too big and i couldnt get the right positioning on the wheel. Well hopefully these will be ok.

  4. Stick with tr snail cams I'll say, easiest things to use on the planet.

Yeh maybe, The biggest gripe i have with snail cams is iv used loads of them and never really had decent tension in my chain as they all keeped moving!

But ill give these ones a go and if they dont work then ill try the 74kingz.

    Cheers

  5. Tr. If i remember right the dropouts on a 08 echo lite (assuming your profile is correct) are at an angle like / on the top half and \ on the bottom half, if you get what I mean so you won't be able to use tugs.

Correct!! That was going to be my next question!!

    Echo TR it is then!

    Cheers Big Ears

  6. Hi Guys,

Just wondered if anyone could direct me to the best 20" chain tensioners?

However i set my backwheel up, My tensioners, However tight i do up my bolts, and however tight i make my chain, my wheel always moves and chain goes slack??!!

Im currently running snail cams but they seem Sh*t.

    All help is appreciated

    Thanks

    Caswell

  7. I may be looking to far into this! But I know by being a stronger person you can obviously generate more power, its not all about legs, its about core stability too. Practise something called the plank. Look it up on the internet. Also press ups and sit ups, there is much more you can do but im just saying basics.

However as much as it is about power its about technique. Watch some videos of TOP riders who gap miles for fun, I would say TRA is a good example, watch how he pre loads and how he shifts his weight as he takes off, also what he does whilst in the air and landing?

After doing all this, hopefully you will be able to gap as far as before using less power meaning you will be able to go further using more power!

    How old are you??

  8. If this turns out as not the right solution then i would suggest get a whole new BB, because it seems like you've tryed everything.

    Hope this helps.

Okey dokey will do, pain in the ass because everything is brand new! cranks, BB, freewheel and pedals! must be one of them!! hopefully not a crack, but i couldnt see any!!

  9. What of the permenant marker? Am i the only one that doesnt think thats almost as bad as throwing the wheel into the road? Sure marker doesnt wreak it like a car would but it still makes it look like shit

Yeh! But you could get the marker off somehow but sorting out a f**ked wheel is defferent. If its f**ked hopefully not.

  10. your a set of pricks look at all the sh*t you've caused now, I nearly reported it to police.

any way if theres anything wrong with those F**king wheels adams paying for it

+1 As you have the evidence to show to police!

Such an immature thing to do!

All of you put yourself in that position! no matter what age or anything and you saw a video of somebody throwing your front wheel into the road!!! I know for sure i wouldnt be best pleased!!

  11. Hey , I bought a load of stuff off of this shop .

I bought my ZOO LYNX frame , forks, BB , brake booster ,cranks ,bashplate and sprockets .

The guy that runs the shop is a really genuine, nice guy .In my experience the communication throughout was excellent.

Due to the exchange rate at the time my LYNX frame worked out at around £70 brand new :P

Obviously since the shop is in Canada it only makes sence to buy a decent amount of parts due to the minimum postage fee for shipping to the UK . So it wouldn't be much use if you just wanted a headset for example.

Delivery wize the frame and parts were well packaged so made the journey from Canada safe and sound :D

    Cheers :turned:

Zoobert seems to suggest that there is an expensive shipping fee?? As he says buy in bulk??

  12. Hope you've got money mate, mine was doing this for the past 2 months and finaly i found out what it was when my feelwheel gave up...

    99% its that.
