  4. Thanks guys. As it happens i was passing a halfrauds on my way home from work and all they had there was either the maxxis n continental. I decided to go for the maxxis as iv had them loads of times. And it was a few quid cheaper. Theres loqads of room now! now the bike looks like it need a smart new front rubber to match the rear!
  5. iv just got a zoo piranha 'long' and my rear rim is the Try-All hOle Rear 26'' i when i put on my maxxis h-roller 2.4, the centre tread rubbed on the welded cross brace. so i need to buy a new tyre, and recomendations what will fit without rubbing, and will perform well, without giving me pinches? cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers. james
  6. ill get some pics up soon, but this evening in eastleigh, iv cracked the down tube of mine all the way around, up by the head tube! since iv only ridden this bike a handful of times, and dont know how much of a hard life its had befor me, its not put me off considering buying a new one, though a few riders recomend i consider the zoo piranha...............

  10. i have that frame, i brought it 2nd hand from a mate. the condition of it is adverage, a few dents in the usual places, the threads on the magura mounts were mangled, but i re-tapped them, which lasted a few weeks, before stripping the threads when under load from the brakes landing a gap.. since then iv re-coiled new threads, and screwed studs in, and this seams to be fine. The quality of the frame is very good considering the price of it. the ride feel is light, with little flex. With the right build around it, it will be a very smart bike! ill get some pics up if you like? i would recomed this frame so far!
  11. the frame looks fab! i was so close to buying one, but brought an atomz instead, but when that snaps i think thats what ill go for next!

  15. he didnt run big un's, they were hope bulbs, the sram shifter, was hacksawed down, he also had coda stem, post, cranks, on earlier models, rims were d521's, though i think he did at one point run x-lite phatso rims, azonic riser bars. when i use to ride trials back in my teens, i was lucky enough to ride with martyn, back when cannondale rode in red, and martyn had the breast of the east.
