  1. [quote name='onza_ardmair' date='Jan 6 2010, 07:07 PM' post='2055053'

    On Christmas day I got,

£220, 3 pairs of boxers, 2 pairs of pyjamas, deoderant and loads more.

    NO ONE GIVES A f**k

    Are you dumb?

The topic is asking, What Did You Get For Christmas. :rtt:

  2. Pros: You get a faster reaction time.

Cons: You will need to bleed again and again to keep air bubbles away, in the winter the piston freezes and also the water freezes expands and breaks the Magura lever and hose.

Thats only cause my brake freezes all the time. Anyway you don't have a water bleed.

  3. Hey guys a vary sad start to my year to be told that the drummer from avenged sevonfold is dead. On their website thers more info but they still don't know why he died. He was my biggest drumming inspiration I had and I will cirtanlly miss him :(

    Holy shit. Are you serious?

    How did he die?

  4. I know a bashplate is to protect your sprocket and chain etc, but i keep hitting the bit above it on the frame  i have a coke can cable tied to it, but that doesnt really help. Is their anything else i could buy thats designed to do that job, or something that would look a bit better? Is it just me who has this problem?

    Thanks :D

Cut up a bit of tyre, and cable tie it to your downtube. Looks stupid but it works.

Alternitively you could buy a downtube protector.

  5. Just one more question, out of all the stems you've used, which was your favorite and why?

    I'm considering getting V!Z Welded.

Definitely the Try-All NUC. But it does cost £55 with the sloping top cap. The V!Z welded stem is fine. It feels nice and you can get a similar shape to the Try-All NUC.

So if you want the V!Z stem then get it. It is cheap, comes in a variety of sizes and looks pretty good.

Alternitively you could get the Trialtech Sport forged.

  6. wonderd what everyone thought was better either the echo CNC rim brake or the magura HS33 because im happy to pay the extra few quid on the echo but it seems most people run the HS33 so just wondered whats the best?

A well bled Echo CNC is very good.

But HS33's are tough and are easy to repair.

Someone else can explain this better i'm sure. :giggle:

  7. Higher angled stems put your centre of gravity back, making the front easier to lift.

Lower stems make the rear wheel easier to control once you are on the back wheel.

Some recommended stems that i have used are:

    Try-All NUC,

    Try-All Oversized,

    Trialtech Race,

    V!Z Welded,

    Trialtech Sport,

  8. right listen to this one boys

Sidehop, you'd think this makes sense because you hop side ways but the hilarious fact is....you go more up, so it should be called an up hop

    hold the applause

hhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. That is so funny. (sarcasm is a cruel mistriss)
