So my new frame got collected earlier this morning!! Got a 2008 Echo Pure.
Will be putting pics of it up later as im off work today to work on it. Expecting the arrival of my Trialtech SL stem later too.
I will be asking for some advice etc too so any help greatly appreciated.
Update soon . . . .

I stripped my Echo urbans in caustic soda. It really isnt as violent as people make out. It smells a bit and the metal may come out kind of smoking!! I didnt use gloves or goggles and was in shorts and a t shirt. I pulled the forks out with my bare hands and got no kind if 'burns'
I mixed it with warm water in a big plastic container and dipped them for a series of 5 second dips. When you are happy that all the annodising is off give it a wipe over with clean soapy water.
Hope this helps

That was my other choice. I was tempted by some echo bars for sale on here thats what tempted me away from trialtechs to begin with
-
Wow. Ok so proper 50:50!! I am looking to use them on my new build. The last bars i used for trials were azonic double walls on my good old pashley!!
I guess i dont know about 'feel' until ive tried them. But i certainly will not be a basher so maybe they will be a bit too heavy?
-
Hey all
What are peoples opinion on the Echo SL bars? How do they feel? Are they daft heavy etc?
What do you think?
Cheers
