Hey its just down to preference really, the 'pisspot' or bmx helmets are stronger and give better coverage, however xc ones will keep your head cooler while you ride and if you do normal mountain biking as well as trials its alot cheaper to use the same one. But if i was you i wouldn't rush out to buy another helmet just yet! ryan

Hey depends on the stage of your riding mate, if your still at the beginner stage you probably won't need one, but if your looking to pull off some bigger moves its well worth it and an extra £30 on top of what you've already spent isn't to much cash to splash.

looks like a nice bike, and decent value so long as not too many bid on it. But you if you can hold back for a week or two just scowering ebay you might get a real bargain on a used mod
