  1. yer it is obvious but after 3 times out on my bike, total time about 3-4hours. I didn't think it would turn out silver.
  2. Hello i have recently had a trials bike built and i have been out on it a couple of times now. I have just got in for washing it and i have noticed that the anodizing has started to rub. It has started to rub of in places were the break pad grab. There are no groves are anything to suggest that my pad had been contaminated with dirt are anything that scratched the hell out of my rim. I am just wondering if the anodizing does not stay on for long with the break pads grabbing it all the time. If so for the price of the rims i am pretty upset about as they look tacky. Thanks Guesty
  3. Hello i am new to the trials scene well in fact new to the whole bike thing, I was just wondering what the tension of the wheel spokes are meant to be? And also how to check to see if they are ok? thanks Guesty
  4. likes been said though its personal preference. So far i am happy with it i think it looks well and when i was out on it i found it comfortable to ride. what ever i think needs changing in the future it will be done. lol
  5. What you mean story with the frame? I saw it in a shop liked the shape and that so i decided to do a build on it. lol This is my first 26" bike and i don't no a lot about the frame so i was just getting more info on it. I think it rides nice but i not doing anything proper yet just jumping around and that.
  6. well thats always something to try in the future!! Also can anybody help me with what year this frame is?
  7. so its all down to personal preference?
  8. ok it feels nice to ride what will the difference in rise do?
  9. could you be more specific with what you mean when you say whats going on?? and what is wrong with it?
  10. I am new to the whole trials thing! But when i ride the bike the bars feel at a comfortable level for me as i am about 6ft 4.
  11. yes sorry i have sorted the link out now i think should show all the pictures! also correct my spelling mistake thank you. lol
  12. hello Guy's and Gal's!!! Just thought I would share some pictures of my new bike. It has just been fully built at Aire valley cycles and after 2 long weeks of waiting (which i thought was really good) I collected it today. Specs Frame; koxx (can anybody tell me what year this is??) Forks; V!z light Hubs; Hope pro 2 Front Brake; Hope Mono Trial Rear Brake; Magura HS33 with two bolt Echo SL break booster Wheels; Echo SL Front and Rear 26'' Handle Bars; Trialtech Sport Riser Bar Stem; Tri-All Bottom Bracket; Try-All ISIS Crank arms; Trialtech Sport Forged Pedals; DMR v12 I got the bike home and went out for a play, i was out for 10 mins before my pedal decided to shear the thread off the end!!! ( My luck) it has all been sorted now and is ready to get back out there. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4554...mp;id=596490408 Please comment and tell me what you think! Thanks a lot Guesty
  13. Thanks for all the replys and help i am going to have a look at the old tyre idea!! I cant believe they don't sell anything for this you would think it would be a good little money maker!!! Thanks Matt(Guesty)
  14. Well I'am new to the trails scene on a nice shiny new koxx frame so i think it could end in scratch's and dints Is there anything else that people use? Abit more appealing to the eye Thanks I have just had a quick look on E-bay and searched for amourdillo and downtube protector and come back with no results, But i will have a proper look later. I am just wondering if anyone has tryed the pipe insulation available at D.I.Y shops I think it is like a foam type material? And also how often are you catching the bottom of the frame? I no it might be a stupid question depending one what you are doing on your bike but i am just wondering if it is worth trying to protect it? Thanks
  15. Hello As i have been looking through some of the trials pictures on the website, I have noticed some kind of protection on the bottom of the frame between the bash ring and front wheel. I am just wondering what you are using? I presume that this is there to protect the frame from scratches and dints to some extent. Do you buy it from a shop like the chainstay / chainslap are is it a D.I.Y kind of thing?? Thanks Matt(Guesty)
