  1. height doesn't make a difference, how tall is cls, no one tells him to go stock

edit: mods can be easier first time bikes there's no reason not to go stock, there essentially big mods anyway now. most riders who ride mod end up going stock, for some unknown reason. I still wonder about going back after 2 years on each haha. your best bet is to read up as much as you can on products to know what to look for. namely isis bottom bracket and cranks. oversized handlebars. sealed bearings and a good freewheel or freehub

Well my first ever trials bike was a Diomond back t3 (dont laugh) bought it fro ma mate 2nd hand for like £40, although its a crap bike felt awkward to ride, then i bought a onza t-raptor 2nd hand, i felt more comfortable on that, although i haven't rode a 20'' long before, not sure how they would feel. ill probably end up getting a 26'' from here.

    Thanks for the reply's! (Y)^_^

  2. Also be aware

    Stock means a 26" bike

    A mod means a 20" bike.

A mod is not a bike that has been modified, it seems thats what you think?

^^ Thanks. lol yes, i did think a mod was just a modified bike. well now i know that, i mean a new bike from a shop 26'' or 20'' Eg, Onza pro, to a 2nd hand bike someone has built(or modified with better parts that what came on the stock)

  3. Hey all, got around £400 to spend and wondering if it would be best to buy a brand new Stock from a shop, or a mod witch would obviously have better parts but a bit beaten and/or not up to scratch performance wise as the stock?

I'm tempted to buy stock just because i could return it to the shop and get it repaired free of charge (within warranty date of course), anyone got a thoughts?

    Thanks.

  4. Hairspray works very well, for me at least, spray inside the grips and put them on handle bars, then pull them off again,

Then wipe some of the hairspray off inside the grips and bang them back on, they should be firmly on , and as you ride and warm em up they pretty much stick.

  5. im wanting to start trials biking but i dont know what size bike to get help?!

All depends on on your ride style and what is more comfortable for you i suppose, if you've previously ridden BMX 20'' would be the way to go i think, and 26'' if your into mountain bikes..

    Hope it helped ! :)

  6. Just wondering if it would be better for me to buy an onza bird instead of an onza pro, as i already have a rear Magura hs33 to put on the Rip as it has a stock V brake :/

Good idea? or are there better parts on the pro?

    Thanks.

EDIT : i meant onza Bird, not the rip.
