  1. How do those clamps hold? Do you need the plastic spacers with them?

Looks pretty cool, I like a plain colour scheme. Trials bikes are there to be beaten and used not looked at (Y)

I totally agree with you there squire a pretty bike just means you want attention!!

the clamps have been ace never budged a mm they still have the plastic spacers in but the clamp is slightly oversized so theres no chance of gettin crap pad to rim allignment

  2. Depends how big you go too, if you frequently do 9-10ft drops to concrete then nothing's gonna last. I'm usually about 14.5 stone, which by riders standards is pretty heavy.

Over the 13+ years I've been riding I've broken plenty of stuff, but early on alot of it was mtb frames, shimano hubs, azonic single walls, I haven't broke anything major in years.

If only the kids of today saw what we had to work with in 1997 lol.

im in the same boat as you i weigh about the same and been ridin for about the same time, ive got one of the old excel pace replicas with some real old skool parts on it, shimano dx v's on the front on a d521 and a rear rst cable disc on a mavic d321 ceramic disc only rst disc hub (which has never skipped once) with all 1998 xt group set and an orange finishing kit.

I remember back in the day when side hops were all about seein how far you could go to the left or right not how high u could get!!

But thats just me bein old haha

  3. Looks a little short? maybe its the high silver stem.. Get a black stem = win :giggle: or get silver forks?

Oh btw, might wanna get your chain a bit tenser? :shifty:

Its a long dude, got the silver stem because there was far too much black on my bike wanted to set it off a bit

if the chain gets any tighter then the bike wont even move!!!!

  4. just outside burton library i see ;)

  7. not long changed the bar and stem on my bike to the v!z forged stem 150mm 30 rise and twinned it with the pro 720 bars and its made one hell of a diffence to my riding, i feel as if ive got more control over the bike can hop further and get up bigger stuff

    V!Z ALL THE WAY!!

  8. WOW i recieved my order from tarty today, ordered some v!z pro 720 bars, what a difference this has made.

the front end is alot lighter, its easier to lift the front if anyone is thinking of buying these i'd recommend them any day!!
