Validation is a protection system, to prevent spammers and scammers.
Now I quoted this from a frequent forum poster, but it seems to contradict the forum rules.
Let me explain. My understanding of the validation system is I have to create a thread(s)/post(s) that can be helpful or insightful to the rest of the forum readers. Correct?
Now I'll tell you right now I'm a nub/noob what ever you want to call it, so I'm finding it kind of difficult to do the above for mentioned due to lack of experience in trials.
I could however create a thread(s)/post(s) in an attempt to be 'validated'. However due to the lack of Knowledge I have, they would be very unlikely to be helpful, and most probably be deemed as spam by most of you.
Now if my first thread or post didn't receive the required 5 votes (correct me if I'm wrong) I would have to create or post some more bullshit (do you see where I'm going here?) in an attempt to get the validation I crave.
Now I'm one of those quite types that lingers around forums, soaking up as much info as possible and only posting when completely necessary. Do you see where my problem lies and the contradiction exists.
Please discuss.
