Im in Halifax seeing a mate but she is in college today and the morrow. So was wondering if anyone fancyed a ride the morrow?

If am honest none of them courses realy intrest me if am honest, and inches WTF everyone workes in mm on drawings
needs some bigger gaps, ones you can do normally or to front
big drop gap 6ft + something abit testing for a begginer or someone scared of heights
Stairs, I like a good stair set can do loads on them
thats just my oppinion on what i would want, but i would never ride the course so design what you want not other people.
Design if for the peoples abbility that are going to use it most, and put in some bits for when you improve.
Thanks for the input, I will have a chat with the council and see what they say but some of the stuff there may be a little ambitious with the cash I have.
here is the better version.

Does anyone happen to know the height in inches of a standard road railing?
-
Yeah sorry about that. I made it with no idea what size stuff should be. The final design should be a little better. Fingers Crossed.

Can you see this ok?
If so the only measurements I need now are the yellow sections. Maybe some others need changing. Im not sure. If you could take a look that would be a great help thanks.
Feel free to make any suggestions for changes / add-ons.
thanks
Theo
EDIT: something clearly went wrong with that pic. I shall have another try

Looks good! Mabey take away the plank from the big ball to the top and have a few more balls you can gap to the middle from. I can see lines going down
Well I only have 10 grand. (I can't believe I just said that!) So the big balls might be a little ambitious on top of all the other stuff.
Just did as you said here. The location of the balls could be changed easily enough.
You will probably regret replying to this topic now, please could you give some of the most important measurements on this pic? It's up to you how you do it.
EDIT: or if you do it.

Some rounded/curved obstacles like pipes or balls, some pillars, some sort of framework thing, some kickers..
What do you think? Open to suggestions/add ons.

Would be fun for an hour or two
Thanks. Any suggestions on making it better then? There will be a natural section too. Just focusing on street at the moment.

Hi there. Basically I'm looking for some ideal heights for taps, side hops and other stuff. I will set it out below and if someone could copy and paste it with decent measurements to fit the average rider that would be brill!. No Benito stuff.
- Side hop, slanted wall going from: Inches to: Inches.
- Tap1, easy height: Inches.
- Tap2, harder height: Inches.
- Gap1, wall to road railing: Inches.
- Gap2, second railing: Inches (after the first railing, two railings in a row if you get me:blink:)
- Small blocks: Inches (between each block)
Finally there is an L shaped wall next to the blocks. Here's a pic.
Height of smaller section: Inches
Height of larger section: Inches
Width: Inches
Would be great if someone could give me a hand with this.
Thanks

thanks for that, its time to get my hands dirty i think.

If i was you just take everyting apart give it a good clean and a fresh good blead. Do the blead the sink way no kit needed.
You know of any decent guides?
thanks.
-
Hi there.
I had a bleed recently that was pretty bad, so I have been relying on the TPA until I can get another or get my own bleed kit. I have noticed now, that when i put the TPA right back down that the pads hardly respond to the lever being moved.
is this just the bleed or have i broken something?...again!
also the tpa jamms sometimes so I have taken the lever off to leesen it up a bit, just incase that has effected anything.
Thanks.

I didnt do any revison for my GCSE's well word of a lie 10 minits the day of the exam to me i fount that GCSE's dont matter to much as long as you get C's then you will be able to get on nearly every course you want at college. College isn't to important realy unless you are wanting to go to uni on a high subscribed course. Dont no about uni yet, havent been yet off soon whenever the new uni year starts.
wish I could do that Us retards have to work well hard for the C's.

Hey all, i dont know how many off you are on your study leave or what ever you'd like to call it ................ but ive just spent a great day riding up the local park knowing that all my other trials buddys in the year below are sat in the classroom working hard. Trouble is i find it really hard pulling my self off the bike and back into the classroom, any of you riding in study leave? be breat to hear some stories and if possible some advice on how to peel myself off the bike and back into school
I was out this afternoon. I have an exam tomorrow too. It's so hard to devote myself to revise
I have decided Im going to get up early, ride for a few hours and then revise for the rest of the day, every day. That way I will still get my kick
I just hope I can do it.

Yeah please, I must have missed that issue.

There is Blackstone Edge too. If you park at the pub there’s a path just a bit further down the road that leads to natural heaven. Add me too mate, Ill come out too, if that’s ok with you?
-
You were, have you not seen it then?
No.. Even though I have read each issue.
Which issue was it?
-
Are they the TNN's?
-
How do those clamps hold? Do you need the plastic spacers with them?
Looks pretty cool, I like a plain colour scheme. Trials bikes are there to be beaten and used not looked at
