  1. Cheers guys I'll be picking it up on Monday. Out of interest, what should I be looking for when I'm giving it the once over? I assume no huge gashes in the frame and that the wheels go round? Found trashzen, looks like I've got a long road ahead! Thanks for your help AD
  2. Alright guys, Cheers for your input - I'll give it a go! I think mod bikes look silly and I come from a mtb background (although I can't ride my 'dale Chase for shit) so hopefully, if I think there is a future with me, trials and a and e, then I'll perhaps I'll move over to stock... Anyway, I best dig out some shin pads and start scowering the net for some good tutorials. Ta AD
  3. @ Borat Thanks, it's not a case of saving up, I have the dough but is it justified given that I might just fall off and give up like a lot of people do. Bottom line in my eyes is that £100, if it will allow me to progress for 1 year (my main question), it will be £100 well spent, if I give up after a week and flog it, I reckon I could quite easily get around that mark and only lost the cost of a good night out. Not arguing, just trying to get an opinion about a bike I can see little info on in a style of riding I have had no contact with. Edit: I'm guessing its a 2008 since i was told it looks like http://www.wiggle.co.uk/images/onza-t-bird.jpg but with mags on, I'm sure he mentioned drilled rims too...
  4. Cheers for the quick reply. Nooo, not yet, I'm buying it from a friends' friend, who bought it, fell off, and has left it in his garage for the past year - being too scared to ride it! I'm sure I'll do the same and have it for sale by easter! I'll ask my mate to get some, I won't be seeing it until monday where it will be a case of buy or, well, bye... From what I've read I think that it must have a 19" back wheel to fit the non-standard mags? AD
  5. Hey Guys I'm a keen biker and I'm starting to realise I'm getting older and have always wanted to give trials a shot. I've been looking for a bargain for a while and today I was offered one. I was offered a practically unused, 2007, onza t-bird not sure of actual spec yet but it has mags front and rear, drilled rims all for 100 squid. It wasn't the bike I was looking out for but at this price I don't think I should ignore it. I've searched around a bit and can't find much other than "heavy, basic, go for this bike instead" So just wondering what your guys views were of the 2007 vintage? Should I miss it bearing in mind the £100+ I've saved and could potentially spend on this? Any particuarly good sites I should have a gander at since i've never even (sat) on one of these things before? Cheers AD Looking forward to sticking around on here
