When i went for a 6 foot drop i rolled forwards went to pull back and realised i was in 9th gear.. Foolish of me!

I let the bike drop and i hopped over the bars, just remember to bend your knees if your lucky enough to last that was up!

Love seeing people still riding into and beyond there 30's... Im 30 this Year and keep Buying Selling Buying Selling.....Stopping starting, I had a 20" Zona a couple of years ago but sold it for a DH bike, But i miss Hopping about so much! going to shell out and get an Inspired in the next few Weeks! it was my intention before reading this post but now im Even more pushed to get one!

Just started riding again after 10 years! And the first things i got once i got my bike was some Roofing tar!!

I looked around the site and apart from grinding & sanding i couldnt see it used as a method of improving braking,

So just wounderd if other used tar or if i was crazy

The flex in the lever you speak of it that on the 2011? I was looking at upgrading my 2005's but flexy levers would be a turn off!

Hey Guys, Just Bought a bike after 10 Years not riding! im very Rusty to say the least, none of my friends ride anymore so i need to meet some local riders

Hey man, good to have you back!

You're never too old, there's a few guys on here in their 40s - Ashton, Hans etc are all getting on a fair bit and still shredding too!

Just do it, age is no excuse

EDIT; 24!? that's still well young, loads of my best riding mates are around that age/ only a year or two off!

Cool thats good to Hear, Dosnt help im a lone rider at present, so need some riding buddys......i Also think when i was younger risk wasnt a word i was famillier with. but now im a HGV driver messing up will be costly, Im lucky i smashed my head on a weekend and that wont hapen again as im going to get a helmet.

Ive just started riding again Today, if you read my "Hello" Thread ul see it wasnt the best start as i split my head open .

I was just woundering how old Riders are and if im too Old to start Riding again and get to a good level.

Im 24 and havnt riden in 8 years i wasnt the best rider although i was far from begginer level. Id like to get good again as id love my son to start the sport (he's only 2 lol)

So How old are you guys?? i seem to think all the kids these days are 14/18 that i see on my travels.

Hi Everyone,

I Just Started Riding again today after 8 Years Out, ibought a 20" Monty today its the first time ive owned a 20" perviously owned a Pashley 26Mhz. Didnt last long untill i hit the Deck hopped onto a fance and the wheel slipped sending me backwards landing on my head so not the best of starts.

Anyways hoping to look though the site properly tonight, So Hello From Me!

Ps. This is why im buying a new Helmet, any recomendations?
