  5. WHen learning how to do rear wheel hops i found the easyest way to practise was on a gental slope . This gives you chance to learn the correct technique and balance required to keep the front end of the bike at a sustainable level. Also when trying back wheel hops on a gental slope there is less chance of taking an unexoected trip over and off the back off your bike as the back wheel can only role back down the bank lowering the front wheel. Hope this helps please let me know if you try this technique and if it works for you.
  6. I find that there is a simple and effective way that resembles pedal ups but yet is rarely used. For me i find the best way is to start by facing the obsticle i want to conquere with my weak foot facing forward, Do half a rotation with the pedal lifting the bike at the same time when your strong foot reaches a position where you feel comfortable that you can pedal kick, jam on the back brake. As the front starts to lower onto the obstacle do one big pedal kick pulling up on the front end of your bike up as you do so. Also bringing the bike up into your body also gains you that little bit more hight which can make all the difference. This methid of pedal ups requires alot less speed therefore once making it onto the top of the obstacle it is much easyer to keep your bike on the rear wheel and ready for the next obstacle. Hope this helps and please let me know if it works for you.

  8. Hi my name is Ashley but most people give me the nickname "Ashes". I live in Shropshire but can be found most weekends in powys riding as live on the border of England and Wales. My favorite riding location is Knighton as it is a place where i can ride with many of my freinds in an industrial estate where there are many top quality obstacles to ride. I have rode my Da Bomb schoolie 2005 now for just over a year, this is due to being reinspired to do push bike trials after seeing many shows and realising how it would help me become better on a motorcycle trials bike. I have many other hobbies and interests such as. Motorcycle trials, Downhill racing, BMX riding, Motorcross, Ice skating and spending time with freinds.
