If it works as you want it to then why bother?
My experience of ONZA cable discs is that they work extremely well then after a while f**k up completely and no amount of repairing and fiddling will mend them.

i have the standard onza disc brake and i need to know is there any point in buying an avid bb7??
are avid BB7s better than the standard onza cable disc brakes??
if they are why??

how much better is the SD7lever than the FR5 for a BB7 ?
or is the Avid Ultimate lever the best (actualy doesn't matter because I still don't have afford with one, but anyway

Try having a gander on a bmx site like pijin/alans/winstanleys for linear cables. They were designed to stop barspins binding up the cable and applying the brake, but work really nicely, as mentioned above, to give a light lever feel and good control (as the outer doesn't bunch up, this prevents power loss)

just remember to get a decent inner cable along with a linear slic outer, gives the brake a light, smooth feel, making it really easy to pull.

Im tghinking of getting a avid BB7 from tarty with an avid SD7 lever, is this a good choice?

i know about barrow farm but its a bit far away (i live in cornwall) and i was just wondering if some people could list the centres they know off

Excuse me young man, but that is no bodge it is a genuine skilled piece of engeneering.
The lever is in perfect reach for me exactly the same as the echo lever im running on the other side.
