Im new to the forum really so havent found any local riders, except one guy i rode with on halloween. Im allways up for riding in a sorta half an hour drive radius of southampton.
Sweet dude Im like 23 mins away from you at the speed limits in fgorce! If you go quicker your make better time! But Im not saying you should break the law!
-
At least this thread is bring some locla south riders together! Im like 15 / 20 mins form Hythe & southampton and have nobody to ride with here! So boys if you ever go riding hit me up!!
-
Its good to know there are people willing to help out!! I guess just need to ask Terry what's involved , thinking about it there must be a lot with insurances and finding venues etc etc then there's running on the day!! Its never ending!!
-
According to the site, Terry still has the ACU licence just incase anyone decides they do want to take it over. Would be great if someone did.
I was kinda' thinking about it! Just seeing if anyone else had thought about it , and if anyone knew what is needed to run it etc etc. It seems such a shame to let it go! Terry & his son were there first people to get me into riding!
Im free quite alot as my timetable at college gives me quite alot of free time. Added you on FB.
Also its nothing to do with this thread really but good to know that there are some local riders! Brockenhurst being like 3mins away from me!

My Thoughts.....
Fu*cking Lovely!
-
I was wondering if anyoe will be taking over the running of the club.... more to the point what is needed to run it? It seems such a shame to let the club go! Respect to Terry though who has been running it for longer then I can remember!

Sorry to go a little off topic here, but does anyone know if Terrys Son Michael still rides? I used to ride with him back in the day with a guy called Ian! Michael used to be able to chuck his Hawyzee signature frame around some pretty beatly rocks down at Milford on Sea!

Strange name for a trials frame really isn't it.
haha "HEAVY" tools!

Just seen this thread and it brings back some serios good times!
My first ever bike was a steel ridgeback I remember when I got my 1st rear V brake! It was like sooo amazing back then! After the ridge back I then went onto a gary fisher! I brought the smallest frame I could buy! Think it was about 14inch frame! I managaed to snap the rear chain stay somehow!
My next bike was a club roost stinger! Got the surf green one! Had a nice set od D521s on it from at rear! A sweet decore v brake set up! A nice set of tioga tyres and a mini tioga seat! She was a beauty! The best street stead you came across in my eyes! I rode her for about a year then I found Montys, my friend got 2 from spain and I had one! Was strange riding a 20" and it had this crazy little plastic seat on a tiny little seat post! Those were the days! I'm going to try and dig some photos out!
watching some old chain reaction DVD's / Videos , look at the size of the 2 Martyns / Martins frames! haha! Crazy stuff! Oh how time has changed!
Anyway dude I am likeing the build!

What Bars Rise Or Flat

Personal choice buddy! But for the 1st time ever I have to agree with Kieran and say that Trialtech bars are awesome! Sport riser will be best for a Mod I guess slightly wider then the high rise!
