  1. Just gotta keep going... They'll turn from blisters into calluses in no time. You and your missus should get used to them, as they'll be around for your whole trials career.

Gloves and soft grips (soft rubber or foam) will help, but once they harden up there'll be no pain and oh so much gain.

    lol thanks!

  2. Recently I have been trying to learn to pedal kick and it is the only thing that has been stopping me from progressing with trials. I have blisters on my hands which means i cant lift the bars up because they hurt. (N)

Has anyone got any ideas on how you can stop yourself from getting blisters on your hands as often other than gloves or new grips.

    Thanks

  3. At the moment im riding a KOXX Djinn 20" and i am thinking of selling it to buy a new bike completely.I have been looking at bikes on tarty and decided that i liked the "Echo Lite Spec 1" and "Zoo! Lite Spec 1".

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on either as to which is better for the money they cost.

    thanks

  4. Well I'm 6ft 5 and I've ridden both

Height has nothing to do with it. I find it all comes down to how you like to ride your bike.

I preferred the characteristics of a stock in the end so i stuck with it (bigger wheels, easier rolling etc)

thanks. Its good to hear someones oponion that is taller than me and saying that height doesn't matter.

  5. Hi.

I am looking into buying a new frame but not too sure which one is best.

Want a good price but also a light frame

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Awrite

On tarty bikes there is an onza comp 2010 frame which weighs only 1.474kg and costs £179. So this looks like it is good for price and weight and could be a good option.

    Hope this helps.

    Douglas

  6. hi douglas if you are just starting and short i would go for a 20" bike as there alot more flick able and awarding to a beginner. :turned:

    thanks iain .

    is tht douglas reid

Thanks. No this is Douglas Weir. Im friends with Sandy though.

normally a mod (20") would be easier to learn on

how tall are you, if your like 6 foot and up, maybe a stock would be better for you

    thanks

at the moment im riding a 20" KOXX and finding it not too bad and im 6 foot 4 inches. But i have never tried a 26" bike before so dont know whether it wud be better or not.
