    Echo Or Zoo?

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. It says on tartybikes that both bikes are 9.7kgs including pedals, but if the Zoo is stronger I think I will go for that. Cheers Brad.
  3. Hi guys, after a bit of research I have come to three options for my first trials bike ... a 2010 echo lite spec 1, a 2010 zoo lynx spec 1, or a second hand monty kamel 221 for $1450 NZD (or close to 720 pounds) that probably wont still be there when my xc bike sells as it seems someone else is interested, so which bike would you go for and why? Also bashplate or bashring? My purchase will be made through tartybikes so for reference the bikes are there. The link for the monty is: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=331389556 Cheers Brad.

    Which Mod?

ok sounds good I think if it is still there when I sell my xc I will go for it. it also has a lot of spares with it. Cheers brad

    Which Mod?

Thanks guys, the monty sounds good and it comes with 11 FRONT TYRES but it may not still be there when I have sold my xc but we will see. I already have a dirt jumper that is 26" although it is 15kg so not great for trials. As for the short people on mods thing I am 5 foot 11 at 16 years and my dad is 6 foot 2 and granddad is 6 foot 5 so I am expected to be tall, will this be a problem if I got a mod?

    Which Mod?

Hi guys, I am looking at getting my first trials bicycle, and a mod seems the go. I ride moto trials so this would just be a way to practise and of course show off in town . I have $1500 NZD (720 pounds) to spend, I like the idea of using tarty but then shipping is expensive to NZ and I also love the colour of the Atomz Premier which may turn out to be too much money with postage, the echo lite spec 1 looks good what do you guys reakon? Although there is a second hand monty kamel on trademe for $1450 NZD here is the link: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Sports/Cycling/Other-bikes/auction-331389556.htm. Cheers Brad.

    Onza Zoot!

I have found another, cheaper place to get the zoot it is, www.wiggle.co.uk and I can get the zoot for just over $1100 New Zealand dollars including postage which I think is the best deal yet. I was also looking at the Onza Bird 20" on there which seems like a very good bike, but what are the 20" bikes like at street riding and skatepark sort of stuff or is it going to be a lot better if I were to get a 24". Cheers Brad

    Onza Zoot!

I have emailed the New Zealand dealer and he seems like a very nice guy and he said he would cut me a deal on the display zoot which seems good but I will email the tarty bikes guy and see what happens. Cheers Brad

    Onza Zoot!

Hi there, I can get an Onza Zoot from the New Zealand dealer for $1449 maybe a little less for the display one or from tarty bikes for $1324 NZ dollars including postage, The obvious choice would be the one from tarty bikes but then again I do live in New Zealand and having the backing of a new zealand dealer would be good, What do you guys think? and do tarty bikes give good back up for international orders? Cheers Brad

    24"?

Thanks for all your help, I have emailed the syms guy and we will see what happens Cheers Brad

    24"?

Ok thanks for that. any ideas on dealers for the onza or inspired in aussie or nz? onza is only 450 pounds on tartybikes but including postage to NZ it is 620 pounds lol so not really worth it then . Any help will be apreciated. Cheers brad

    24"?

Hi there, I am looking at purchasing my first trials bicycle, I ride a 26" dirt jumper at the moment and I do trials on it, I also ride a unicycle quite well, and I also ride trials motorbikes as a sport and am wanting a trials pushbike for practising when the motorised one is getting fixed and the dirt jumper is 15kg! and doesn't really cut it. I think the 24" would be very good as i could still do the skatepark thing aswell as street riding, what do you guys think. I was looking at the 2010 onza zoot, and bear in mind I am situated in New Zealand so shipping from the UK is not really on, any thoughts?
