Clearly you have not read my previous posts as I have already said I'm not too fussed about being validated or not as I get all I want out of this forum as a pre-member. I am simply pointing out several downfalls in the validation theory in that it does not eliminate scamming, spamming or text talk, which is what it is in place to do.

That's an interesting statistic So in terms of validation stopping scammers, it doesn't?

So how do you figure out who is going to be a troublesome trader before they trade?

It isn't a moan, it's a critisism. It's not like I'm being rude in my comments, and I am giving reasons for my opinions too. If somone wants to vote to validate me, that's great, if not thats cool too. I get all I want out of this site as a pre-member. Fair play, I was unaware this was the case. But can I ask why there is the need for a thread specifically for people to debate problems with buying/selling? One of the things validation is here to eliminate.

I pesonally agree with the origional post. The validation system does come across as "you can't join our club unless we say so". I'm sure the reason it is in place does work 90% of the time, stopping people spamming and what not, but I frequently see full members using txt talk, bad spelling, punctuation and grammar which are also reasons for the system to be in place.

Hello, being new to the trials game I don't know anyone in my area who does trials or of many spots, so was wondering if there is anyone nearby who can recommend some places to go/people to ride with in the Newmarket, Cambridge or Bury St Edmunds area. Cheers.

I use some sort of TSG skate helmet, I got it for skating but at the end of the day it's a helmet that protects your head, and it has done quite well so far! Comfortable and light weight at £30 about a year ago.

Hi, I'm Chris. I've been riding since May this year on an Onza T-pro. I live and ride in Newmarket and as far as I know am the only person to (try) ride trials in the area! Other hobbies include playing with my car, skatebaording and I have just started snowboading too. Hopefuly would like to meet some other people in the area learn from some of you veterans :-p
