Hey boys and girls
got a really random question but what type of shoes/trainers do you ride in?
For the 1st time i rode for half a day or more and found the soles of my feet hurting and my trainers was not as grippy as i would like.
are there specific shoes or should i but a set of dc's/van etc with a thick sole?
cheers

We sometimes go to the underpass by the Create Centre as there are some rocks under cover. I guess we will probably go there tomorrow if the weather is pants.
We've been trying to sort a ride with you for ages! I think it's been months since we first tried.
i know man it sucks balls
i have not been able to practise either as i have been away, tomorrow i am off to my folks back home in the cotswolds and no doubt work next week will bugger the issue up.
ah well will keep on trying

Beats building a snow man
-
ok mate
next time then
-
Not entirely but I do run slick tyres which makes for a much less enjoyable and more risky experience in wet, snowy or icy conditions. We'll just play it by ear eh.
Mate my car is covered in snow with ice under it......Rain check?

cheers guys
i will be looking into getting some risers they seem to be a good idea,
as for the chain i noticed i had hit the spring on the tensioner into a new position which left it weak, put it back problem solved.
may go for the ss idea just because it looks a lot neater and out of the way.
cheers again

crank flip @ 38seconds!! SWEEEEET AS A NUT, SWEET LIKE TROPICANA !!
never heard the tropicana line before

-
thanks guys
some real sound advice and unlike most things you guys really are consderate to the fact its easy to try big stuff and hurt yourself
isitafox.....your right my weight does seem up on the front of the bike, i am not really sure if the bike is really set up for a tall rider and i am riding it as i bought it.
hoping to meet up with a few guys on friday hopfully they will be able to see what needs to be changed i am thinking higher bars.
another question.....why would the chain slip? had it happen yesterday and my god a pedal to the shins hurts.
also what size rear sprocket would i want to be learning with on my onza hitman?
cheers
james
