  1. its all danny macaskills fault..... my uncle mentions he was buying a trials bike ( one with an engine) got me thinking... you tubed danny... next thing you know i have coughed up 400+ quid and have just finished building mine.
  2. o yeah helmet.. forgot about that.. ill get one when i start doing more stuff... just guna spend the first few weeks riding around to get a feel for the bike. but yeh ill be up for it.

Front Trialtech rim Avid BB7 front disc brake 185mm kenda welterweight tube i think Avid sd7 front brake lever Magura Rear brake lever TMS bar Echo front forks fsa Headset TMS Stem Monty tr21 hub (something like that) Middle Truvative husslefelt crankset Onza BB Zona Zenith Frame Rear Tryall rim hope pro 2 hub Magura Hs33 brake not sure of tube overall i am really happy with how it looks and i cannot wait to start riding it.. Any advice on how i could upgrade or change the bike would be appreciated....Enjoy
  5. i have built my own bike.. well nearly just need the crankset to turn up.. most of the parts are second hand its been a great learning experience... i am only a newbie i would definatly recommend building one with parts that people sell on here you get better second hand parts than you would on a new bike depending on what your willng to spend

  8. just a quick message to people who are debating whether to take up trials biking as a hobby or to people that are currently building there first bike... i have just opened the last part of my bike i need to build it.... Avid bb7 Front disc brake set up and i am like a kid at christmas... the smile on my face form the excitement is unbelievable so my messege to you is.. " Give it a try theres such a sense of achievement building the bike and i know you will feel the same excitement i do when your at the last phase of building before your first ride" messege to anyone reading this saying the topic is irrelevent or you want to bitch about what i have written...keep your negativity to yourself..   12. hi everyone. basically i have just recieved a monty 221 front disc hub off a member on here and... when you turn it, its not smooth u can feel the barings inside.. like a rough feeling. like you can feel everything inside working... i have the feeling that when i make up the front wheel its barely guna spin or if it does it wownt spin for long like my rear one does... does this sound familiar??   13. alright everyone im in the middle of building my first bike and have been going on ebay constantly searching for parts and my question is.... can anyone recommend a good front disc brake?
  14. hi everyone i am new to all this trials stuff and i have nearly got to grips with all the things i need to buy and what they do... has anyone found any good sites to buy stuff from? would anyone recommend parts? also apart from that ..i get bored easy usually and i really wanna keep this hobby could anyone point me in the direction of some inspiration to keep my mind focused? sounds silly i know.. p.s. i am building a 26" stock..
