i dnt think you can go wrong with magura's on front and rear with a good setup! but i prefer to have a disc on the front... i use the magura marta nd i cant fault it!

i would get the magura hs33 brakes to give you confidence in your brakes.. but you will also need to get a good pair of pads and grind your rim.
