so I got tired of waiting for the echo brakes to start working, I switched them out for a hs33 on the rear and a bb7 with an 8" rotor (couldn't find a 6" adapter in my pile) on the front. I don't know what to do with all this stopping power now.

The biggest problem was the chain hitted the upper chainstay very badly, so had to add some spacers of one side of the hub and run the chain extremely tight
you I have been having this issue aswell, it came stock with a 13t cog on the rear with the teeth centered on the cog. I'm going to order a 12t trialtech cog with the teeth at the edge and flip it so the teeth are closer to the center of the hub, but untill I get it I may try your idea.

Is it possible for me to completely insert a Zoo! Lynx frame into my anal cavity while riding a giraffe and making love to Clark Maxwell ?

As funny as this topic is, I believe the only dumb question is the one not asked.

That is the sexiest frame I have seen, hopefully you choose the right parts to complement this beauty. what is that white thing to the left? it kind of looks like one of those star wars walker things lol.

Practicing on my new bike in the backyard.

I ride these brakes.
Pain in the arse to bed in, but work amazing once there sorted.
Yea I'm finding it a pain to bed in, and coming from my other bike with a maggi on the rear I have no confidence with the discs yet, they just don't have the bite that I'm used to. And as for the bars, I had these bars on my street rig and they were to flexy for me, but they seem alright on this bike. I also ordered a longer stem off tarty cause I'm pretty tall.
I am having an issue with the chain clearence though, it's only like 1mm from touching the seatstay so anytime I give the peddals torqe or I hit a bump the chain slaps the stay.
Only thing id chuck are those echo bars!
stick with rear disc for a while going maggy would ruin the look of that bike big time
Considering there are no trials bikes around this area everyone already thinks it looks weired anyway so I'm more worried about performance at this point, and the discs just dont perform well for me yet, I am going to wait till they bed in to make sure I want to make the change.

that's rather nice for a starer bike!
looks good
Well it's not exactly a starter bike as I have been riding trials on my 24" marino street trials rig for just over a year, it's just the first PURE trials bike I got.

I plan on switching the maggi off the rear of my 24" to this bike.

geo?
It's been a while so I'm not to sure, but I do know it's similar to the 2011 fourplay but a bit longer and it takes a 25.4mm seatpost

So how are you liking this bike?
-
God I would love to get my hands on a nice stock like this.
-
26 here, just started riding trials last summer but I have been riding all different styles of biking as long as I can remember
-
I had that problem with my Echo sl front hub, when tightened down all the way the bolts weren't locking onto my forks, a washer behind each bolt did the trick. Try the washers and get back to us with the results.

looks pretty good
what's the frame geo?
Should be - Wheelbase: 1020mm - Chainstay: 380mm - BB Height: +20mm - Head Angle: 73˚ as It was meant to be a fourplay replica, but I'll find out for sure and get back to you.
Alluring! I wanna get one like that.
How's the weight so far?
Intel from one trial pal said that 11' HS-33 is terrible, is that terrible or worse?
I'll have to check the weight when I go to the LBS, and as for the brakes my buddy has them and thinks their good, but these are me and the buddies first trials bikes so we really have no experience to rate them properly.

loving the frame and colour and nice spec ,
but i would have to agree with craigjames, it's a little too busy with the different green and gold parts imo, but it's your bike so it does'nt matter, we all have different tastes so as long as you like it that's all that matters, just go out and enjoy it, that's what trials is about.
ez.
you Hope and Echo have totaly different types of colors. But you are right it is my bike and I do like how looks, and I know some people might not like it but I do, and thats all that matters... so thanks for the feedback.

I still have a few things to do to it before I ride like: cut the steer tube, put the chain on, cut the cables to length.
