  1. I've been to house partys with kids on MDMA, and one sat there and pulled out the inside of her mouth that she'd spent the last half an hour chewing on.

    You what?

MDMA is safer and more controllable than Pills.

  2. Is Grinds are so good why don't you get them as standard ?

Some bike companies do offer them; Tartybikes are one of them.

I think they're not done on all rims merely because some people don't want them, plus they can make the rim wall weaker and not lookas nice if it was bought to use a disk then it would look nicer anodized.

Oh and it's a lot more effort for a company to do it, no doubt would need to be hand-done which makes the manufacturing process a lot more expensive.

  3. isnt it like 350 or somthing silly handset only?

In the UK, It's not available handset only.

In France it's €749 (info) and €999 in Germany (info) if you want it without a contract.

At the moment, it's only available with an o2 contract in the UK, although I know quite a few customers who have read up on them and are going to 'Contact their lawyers' about it. Makes me laugh lol.

Edit Oh and you can only buy one of the iPhone handsets Sim-Free in France or Germany etc if you are a citizen of that country with a valid passport, meaning that you can't go abroad to buy one either. I'm pretty sure the 2 iPhone limit and card payment only stands as well.

  4. released to soon, To many versions, To many problems, To many incompatabilitys, Very high overheads, need a really top end Hi-spec pc to run it sensibly .... its rubbish but do have some nice features. as with any new MS OS dont use it for as long as you can avoid it.

Oh yes almost all the same sort of stuff that MAC's suffer from but for only half the cost.

Lol I love how you're over 40 and write 'too' as 'to'.

Then continue to rip Mac's however they don't have too many versions, and have hardly any problems, and you don't need a high-spec to run properly..

  5. Just after some quick advice.

What's the best kind of food to eat when I've got a fever, sore throat, splitting headache and absolutely no energy.

This is the first time ive got out of bed in 48 hours and after having a girl bring me paracetamol and water last night, I haven't had anything to drink or eat either. I don't want to die but I'm a student so don't have parents to look after me and being ill actually gives me f**k all energy.

Quick suggestions would be nice to stop me from dying.

    Thanks lots.

    Nick

  6. Yo Nick, I've got PMs turned off... :$

As for equipment: 400D, Tokina ATX-DX 10-17 fisheye, Sigma Super EF 530 flash, using the popup flash on the camera as a trigger for the Sigma which was sat on the floor. Manual focusing cos the auto just refuses to work in the dark!

Don't worry just means I'm clogging your thread up so I'll try say stuff briefly :P

What's your verdict on the lens? I've seen it for £259 from OneStop Digital and have read pretty good reviews from a site called Photozone.

Tempted to buy one. Cheapser than the 10.5 and a lot more versatile being 10-17mm. What's the quality like? It's got AF hasn't it, just no switch on the lens so you need to just use the one on your camera body - that correct? Any other info about it you think's worth considering?

    Thanks,

    Nick :)

  7. A lot of people right click to go back etc. There's really no need to do it these days. If someone wants to steal your images they will. Disabling the menu is just an inconvenience along the way.

You can just screenshot or drag the images to your desktop to nick them, don't need to use a right click.

I thought most people used the back button or backspace to go back? Meh.

  8. rite then need a hard drive thing, needs to be mac compatible, looking to spend like £30-80, wants biggest mount of gig possible, 500 like that. wants it pretty small too, so it isn't a breeze block :)

    New or second hand?

Oh and this is in chit chat so I assume you're looking for advice rather than a Wanted ad?

  9. Do you have to reset your router then let it fire back up, then it starts working again?

My Netgear router is like that but I've just bought it so have no idea how to fix it. It's no the computer's problem It's the routers 'cos it's fine with other routers. Now it's giving 'connection error' whenever I try join my network.

    Stupid thing.

  10. TV's often do that mate, best way I found is to turn the TV up loud on TV remote, then turn the amp on and obviously you don't need to turn the amp up so much if the TV's up.

That way you get less buzz.

    Did I explain that properly?

Yeah kinda. That kind of solves my problem but I was looking for a decent fix. I'm okay with spending a bit of money if I need to get some proper leads. Cheers Tom I'm goin to look in to that, I've never had sky before so I've no idea what kind of connections come off the back of the Sky+ box yet.

Surely TV's can give out an audio signal with clarity these days!

  11. Just a quick one.

When I hook a 3.5mm jack into a TV, which then splits to Phono, then goes into the back of my Sony Amp and hooks up to some Mission floor standing speakers...

    It goes all buzzy.

I can't get rid of it and I'm curious why. Do I need to do it another way than the 3.5mm jack, for example phono or scart or something?

Sorry I'm vague - hope you get what I mean. We're getting Sky next year and want to hook the TV up to my speakers for Music channels and such :)
