  1. i asked about freewheels the other day and every one said get and echo sl without fail!

p.s just looked on tarty and it looks like i got the last echo sl 108 lol worth waiting for them to come back in if peeps are to be believed! :)

  2. if your woried about hitting that dent again, go over to tarty and get a carbon fibre down tube protector. it will take the brunt of any knocks to the bottom of the frame and it ways peanuts. in fact peanuts are probly heavier and im talking a small amount of oeanuts mabye one or two! lol

  3. i used to have a t-rex. i beleive the bb is trials standard and the head tube i used to run a standard size cane creek headset so i dont think you will have 2 many probs finding bits.

also BB just get a ruler and measure from one side to the other (frame) it should be 63mm i beleive which is standard now.

edit - just looked online and seen there was anewer version of t-rex released after the one i had. same still applies for bb though just measure across the bb tube on the frame. headset i would find out about though.

  4. yeah as said just tighten up drive side then loosen off non drive side a thread or 2 until its silky smooth. if the hub shell has a few threads sticking out of the frame you could always fit a lock ring if your worried about it becoming loose, only time you'll need to worry realy is if you can feel the bb axle wobbling in the bb but i doubt this would happen!

  5. im just upgrading to front freewheel. one because they are cheaper/than freehubs (it remains to be seen how long they last compared to my original pro 2 ive had since 2006). in my case i only had 24 engagment points. (original pro 2) so having 108 in a freewheel will give me much better power etc. also as mentioned it can even out weight. im now* able to have a lighter hub and sprocket assembly on the back. the back end of my bike has always been heavy. personnal preference realy.

  6. nice riding m8. i hate when people expect every video to be like a danny mac epic video! People want feedback on there riding not on there ability to edit. + the song wasnt that bad! :P

  7. the front sprocket , rear sprocket and derailier should always by as strait as possible with each other, specialy if you are using a derailier. so check that. im guessing you are using a single speed set up? if the angles are different thats your problem the chain should run in a nice strait line otherwise you get a tight spot were it grips, skips or the derailier and bingo the chain is off.

  8. well im guessing your on about 20 inch hubs.

unfortunatly your looking at a profile or a criss king. both are expensive. especially the criss king bmx. it is possible to get a 16 tooth freewheel on a fixed rear hub and run something like a 20 tooth sprocket on the front. (just an example as i used 20 -16 or 18 -14 currently).
