  1. I have an Onza pro 2010 and I have just broken my (mechanical) caliper, I'm thinking about swapping to hydraulics and I have found something which is pretty good and in my price range, at the moment I have a 180mm disc and the caliper that I'm buying is 185mm would it fit on my disc/bike??

  2. yep, with delay of 1/10sec..precisely!joking aside, just imagine a line from the point where your rearwheel stands to the grips.lower the front wheel but accelerate your body mass on the line the bars where in the old position, and pedal kick.i think thats how i´m doing it,but most of the time i ride i got no physicians with me to witness my movements.it just feels like that.once in the air its a little bit like pushing a frontflip and pulling a backflip then after the half rotation lol.hope it helps

and THIS of course,or you´re GONNA frontflip lol

    Haha, yeah thanks mate :)

  3. i always have that feeling that when i´m on the rear wheel, theres a point at wich i hang on my bars(if you know what i mean)in one line with the spot i´m standing on.it feels like the more linear my movement is to that spot, the easier it is to shoot the bike(and me) forwards.syncronizing that with the kicking force makes it happen in my opinion

    you´ve no idea what i´m talking about,right?pah,germans...

Do you mean when you kick the pedals you push your body forwards at the same time ?

  4. Some thing that helped me gain height/distance in a lot of areas of trials biking was to stop focusing on how hard I was 'kicking the pedal' and instead concentrate on actually jumping. I find that the movement of my body if far more important than how much force I put through the drive-train (Y)

Thanks mate, I'll work on it tommorow.. I would give a rep point but I can't yet :/ but cheers anyway :D

  5. There definitely is a method, and that is one finger. You're doing it right, so keep practising it and you'll get it :)

Thanks mate :) I'm just working on my distance when pedal kicking now so the techniques alright now, thanks:)

  6. Yeah, as said there's not really a correct method.

I started with two then went to one finger to give me a bit more control and grip but it's just whatever you're used to.

    Jack

I tried starting with two but I find it easier with one I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong which may stop me from maybe progressing in the future

  7. One. What brakes are you using? Something less powerful might require a lot more force through the lever to make it lock.. But 95% of brakes used on trials bikes use one finger.

Thanks, at the moment I've got disc brakes (not hydraulic) on an Onza pro 2010 thanks a lot :)
