currently im running middleburns with a 18t super pro guard, looking to shed about 100g lol the cloud 9 is pretty much the same weight so thats pointless

I've got a Giro (Skyline?) that was half that and it does the job. Recently bought a skate style helmet to try as I'm paranoid about smashing the back of my head after seeing a vid of a forum member coming a cropper on a drop.
now im going to be paranoid! who was it and is he ok?

i need a helmet and cant really afford to spend £70 on a fox flux atm but found a giro hex for £40 are they any good?
also i want some new gloves my current fox ones are too padded i wan some tough but thin ones any reccomendations for upto £25

this is probably a stupid question but...
i'll receive a front rock rim in a few days...not sure if that will be 28h or 32h...the hubs i have are 32H and i don't have money to buy a 28h hub...if the rim is 28h, can i mount it with a 32h hub? thanks
well yes if you miss out the spoke at 12,3,6,9 o'clock but its bound to crack in on of those spots pretty quickly

for real? wow it's the bashguard that seems super heavy compared to my mate's little trialtech jobby, are those tnn ones strong 've not seen a single person on here with one so i assumed thy suck
