  1. So I replaced my fixed hub with a Hope Bulb on my Zoot Pro for the reason I wanted to run a disk as I was sick of Maguras and was wanting a rear freehub. I fitted it and without a disk on it, it sits in fine, slides up the dropouts a we bit after a while but can be sorted with chain tugs, but once the disk is fitted it rubs on the frame, its not cause the disk is to big as its a 160mm, and if the wheel is far enough up the dropouts the rotor bolts hit the frame... To prevent this the wheel has to sit at angle which isn't good at all but also it instantly straightens up as soon as you start riding so the disk just rubs again and you lose all tension in the chain, its not like its a subtle rub, its quite bad.

Is there any solutions to this? Does it happen with all Zoot Pros? Am I just going to have to run rim brakes again? HELP!

i would say it is your hub the spacing on it and such try a different disc hub a more up to date type and see how it works or put a washer between your hub and frame on both sides to space it out abit had to do it on my front my rotor rubbed on my fork leg so just spaced them out hope this helps

  2. quit the attitude i gave my opinion to him not you

anyone who has one will probably agree it's a different shaped because simple and no way i'd have paid £350 for it

neither would i ;) i got the frame off a friend that was sponsored by them brand spanking out the box when i got it best frame ive ridden just fancy a change something more streety as i rode bmx for 6 years

  3. the event started as a bmx and skate contest on my local skate park and after getting kicked out of a local parks playground from riding the rocks and walls the council got us in touch with the guy behind the bmx contest that one of my mates dads is doing with the help of a youth club to promote the skate park and the bmxers, skaters and scooter riders in hull we got word of this due the to park keepers kicking us off and told us to get in touch with this kids dad and he agreed we needed to promote trials aswell so shannon a local trials rider has taken time out of his life to sort it by ringing local construction firms to get pallets and concrete pipes or blocks on the grass next to the skate park and the company's truck is to be placed in the middle of the trials course to promote the company as the event is being filmed for look north so all us hull riders would like to see a good turn out because if this goes well the council are willing to design a trials park for all the skate parks in the surrounding area of hull

  4. Water/dirt,mud can have huge effect on braking. I'm thinking since you've changed you rim you need to give the pads time to re-bed in to the new rim. That would explain the squishy lever feel. Once the pads are contacting the rims 100% the brake should feel solid again.

I get this each time I put on new pads until they have bedded into the rim's shape/angle.

Let me know if you still have any issues.

ive sold them now and running trials techs working amazing atm best brake ive had

  5. LGM´s isn´t working on trialtech rim ? haha  I´ve got they on mine race undrilled and they are awesome !(I´ve got second pair so..)

read up a few comments they didn't work with a 4 bolt booster ran them with no booster and work now running trials tech pads and are insane better than my lgms

Splitter is precision crafted by super on here, would have liked smaller hose fittings but hey. Magura mounts have been filed down slightly, just need to cut the top bolts down to size but it performs so well now I dont wanna touch it. The black on the rim is paint that hasn't been ground off :)

what rim are you running if you dont mind me asking ?

  7. OK so status report got a set of trials tech pads yesterday and put them o same thing just didn't want to bit or hold rode them all day try and bed them in but nothing so got home and took my booster off (running a because booster) and re set up my brake and the trials techs are sick so thought if that worked maybe my lgms might they improved alot but nothing compared to my old brake gunna ride them tonite might just stick with the trials techs or like someone said get some belaeys or cousts

  8. From personal experience certain pads work well with some rims and crap with others, you need to find what works for you.

Also did you grind the rim then fit the tyre? as stuff from the tyre gets on the rim which doesn't help, always try to grind with the tyre already on :)

tyre was on before the grind guess they jusy dont like the rim

I and others found that the LGM material didnt work all too well with the trialtech rims.

Heatsink Yellows, Trialtech Sport and Rockman green pads all work brilliantly on them.

thanks for the confirmation i was thinking this was the case got some sports pads on order so should be good has anybody try cousts on a trialstech rim?

lgm pad on echo tr rims are epic.best combo ive ever used

lgm's on my neon rim were sick guess i have to try something new :)

water the brake is solid no flex in the frame pads just squish against the rim and no bite or hold

That rim don't work well with them pads prob

im starting to think that ordered some trials tech sports bad gunna put them in my cnc'd backings and see how we go
