  1. Aluminum forks with aluminum steerers do have a silicon looking seal, I'm not sure what it is, some kind of glue I'd imagine. basically its hard luck on his part, try getting him to send back to the distributor to see if it is a manufacturing fault?

    Also ....

There's no way in hell a set of snapped forks would hold together with any manner of silicon!

  2. I have just bought a repeater to boost the signal in my room as my PlayStation only picks up about 5% - 10% and is very unreliable, my network has a password and I am having difficulty getting the repeater to work. It is a Siemens Gigaset 108, I've read the instructions and they are confusing the hell out of me and not answering my questions. I don't know much about computers but I managed to set up my networks security, so I can get that far at least.

    Any network jediis? Please help!

    Cheers

  3. Ive only just found out, by looking at james facebook. I know I've not seen him for years, but man was he a hella cool kiddy, always messing about and having a laugh, never remember him putting a downer on any ride, going to be sorely missed. Thoughts go out to your family.

    RIP dude.

    Stuart.

  4. The duty is planned for October, so the rising oil prices are more due to the massive price increases being created by OPEC (Click the Google link). THAT is what is causing petrol to rise, and a crappy online petition won't do anything about it. They had one relating to a skatepark before that was replied to as though it was applying for a grant for an art museum. There was one about photography that they pretty much said they literally couldn't give less of a shit about. People voting over something the government is barely controlling on a petition website designed to keep people quiet by clicking on meaningless buttons ISN'T going to reduce the price of petrol or diesel in the UK. If hundreds of lorry drivers parking on the A40 yesterday isn't going to do anything, what is clicking on that going to do?

Makes people feel better. No harm in piece of mind!

  5. Im not going to sign it as its pointless as the potition will do jack shit. And the tax is there for a reason.

    Do you actually drive?

I've only been driving 2.5 years and I've seen fuel go up about 30p a litre, which is madness. when you start driving paying 85p ish then only 30 months down the line its gone to 115p, makes you think something has gone wrong that needs sorting. Even that petition, feeble as it may seem, may as well be signed.

50 ish % tax, to me, seems mad, thats all I'm trying to say.

  6. I just got given a sony ericsson k800i but its not taking my asda sim card, its an orange phone and I need to unlock it. I tried looking on google but got no where, just loads of rubbish.

I did it years ago, litrally put a number in the website and it gave me a number back to put in the phone, done. Seems alot harder now!

If someone can help me out that would be great!

  7. I got a hobao hyper 7, I think, and its broke. Basically we were ragging it round a field, and it got pretty hot, now it wont run properly :( keeps cutting out, when you rev it.

Also have me an electric tamiya tt-01 for had a sweet beemer 3 series body with lights and everything, now have some horrible looking skyline gtr shell as the beemer got smashed when my mates got on the controls!

Also have a rc glider which is awesome fun :D

Yeah so if any of you know what could be up with my engine, give me a shout!

  8. i'd fry the steak off in a very hot pan with a little bit of olive oil. Depending on how thinck it is.... (how thick is it?!?)

    (do this first)

once it's browned off and you think it's about done to your taste, throw it into a pan with some beef gravy in it on the hob. Put a chopped onion or more in the gravy and leave it bubbling away.

This will soften the steak the longer you leave it. Cover the pan so it doesn't dry up.

Boil the veg with a little salt in the water, and when they're ready, drain them. whack it all on a big plate and you've got gorgeous steak, nice soft onions in the gravy which you can eat all your veg with at the side of your steak.

    Fit meal!

yes, im liking your idea there. just waiting for the beef chunks to defrost and it shall begin!

  10. I found that it was mainly fannys that get this problem :P. Nah, seriously, when I used to ride my hands were always in a state after not riding in a while, you just have to either griz it, or wait until they feel a bit better, they just need easing into it. Also I'm sure the cold weather may play a part in it. Or you have early signs of arthritus :o
