Man you have to see some of the random shit we have made at halfords! I was also backwheeling out counter, got big bash guard marks in it now .
Ive made numerous robots, I made one of those little ele tric cars into a tank, made an air compressed un, skate ramps for mini bikes, inc a foam pit (Y) and loads of random hats and people made out of those latex gloves, etc.
You have to be there to appreciate it iall, we dont have a box desk/workshop thingy ne more, jsut some random wiggly worm shaped desk, which is utter bollox.

Stu

Pretty sure thats not the case Stu? :turned: Dont KMC claim breaking load of 1300kg for the Kool, and 1100kg for the 510?
I also had a K510HX, and killed it pretty quickly - sheared a plate in half.
Might be something to do with them being used on BMX instead of MTB?
Yeah i spose :- I did not think of that, It might be because the links are bigger they catch on walls more when grinding, etc. maybe.
Stu

They are the same chain, BUT go for the 510HX, stronger and lighter, thats what we all run on our bmx's down here, the kool chain seems too fall apart easier. Also the 510HX is only like £7

I'm a bit confused about the gear ratios on this size of bike, I will be running 2 gears one for speed the other for trials, so I wandered which one to go for.
I'm using 172.5mm cranks and a 22 tooth front sprocket.
Cheers

All of you who are sayign they have no power and grab, obviously have the 6" version, james has the 8" one.
they used to be mine on my dh'er, and they are mint.
boiling the pads gets rid of the oil, brake fluid, etc. boil them on the hob for like 20 mins.
I have a 6" version on my street bike, it does not hold as well or fee las grabby, but it is ample for street, hold fine whilst abubacaring rails, etc, holds fine on the coing at skateparks too.
Stu
P.S. Oh and james, it was you who got shit on the pads, because it was fine when I gave it to you.
