Thanks dude, I do drive and once I've found some good spots in Lincoln I'm thinking of hitting Scunny so will have to meet up ... I'm just getting back into it after around 8 years away from trials so at the minute my ability is pretty low but I'll improve as I get my confidence with it all again I'm sure! I'm originally a Grimsby lad so it'd be nice to ride some of my old haunts there and in Cleethorpes again too! Will be in touch soon mate! Thanks again!

Thanks for the advice man, The bike isn't brand new so I guess the pad has been worn in already, looks like it's had some use but I will try this today anyway to see if it helps at all as it may not've had loads of use?! I know that with rim brakes you can tar your rims so I wondered if there's an equivalent method for disk brakes? Thanks dude I'mm going out for my first proper ride in about 8 yrs today (yes I will going somewhere quiet where I wont embarras myself too much lol)... I'll let you know how I get on

Hi all, K so I just got my MAD Phase 1.3 , it's in real good condition ... I've set the rear V up to my likings and it seems to lock up nicely ... However the front Tektro IO disk brake just wont lock up fully .... I've adjusted the cable tension to where it feels as though it should lock but it slips still ... any advice on how I can get it working nicely (on a low to non existant budget)??? Hi all, I've just bought a trials bike (mad phase 1.3) as after around 10years away from trials I've decided to get into it again... To say I'm totally rusty is an undrestatement so I'm just getting used to my bike and remembering the old techniques again! I wondered if theres any riders around in Lincoln or the Lincolnshire area who organise regular rides or anything as it'd be cool to ride with some other people once I've got the hang of it all again!
