well yea, im pretty sure i'm going to like photography but i'm not sure if i will be able to make of a living out of it..
Please don't go down that path, photography is one of those courses for people that "dont achieve" or fail at everything else, Do something useful like languages, maths or an apprenticeship. I don't see how you can make a living out of photography, you can buy cameras that do all the work for you nowadays, so whats the point?

He's a Mk3 Polo, 1045 CC and a little beast, Cant think of a better first car, I was really inspired by the VW's in here so i had to get one. But after sorting through the local classifieds and getting insurance quotes it became increasingly clear why everyone around here drives corsa's! due to the availibility and cheap insurance, but when this little diamond came up i couldnt say no, thank you TF fro leading me to the wonderful german world of Volkswagen.

there was this really tall guy on a london ride once, he was at least 10foot tall, didnt catch his name though, friends with spode?
Think I know who you mean, His names rob and he's MASSIVE! We didnt really realise how tall he was untill he got on my bike. Wish I was tall.

Im putting London south bank on my application, but I was a bit put off by the 70% mature student rate, Whats the social life like there? And do you drive as I would want to take my car with me...

This I'm well into The executioners and anything with bass since I got my sound system done.

In mine (was 4 years ago though, so dunno if it's changed) I put stuff like:
-What I wanted to gain from the degree
-Why I wanted to study the degree subject
-Any stuff I'd done at school/college that might be useful for the degree
-Any stuff I'd done at school/college that not everyone did (like Young Enterprise or whatever)
-Any part time jobs I'd done and skills I learned there
-Any sports I did and other stuff I did in my free time.
We were told you just gotta sell yourself, show you're capable of doing a degree etc. Try and put examples in as well, like if you say you're good at teamwork, give some e.g.'s of where you've worked in a team.

Right, Its that time of year again, When all the snotty nosed kids will be 'spreading their wings' and leaving the nest, to head for a more academic, challenging and wild place in hope of gaining some extra letters after there names. I am one of these individuals, And after minimal thought so far, I decided a good place to start would be here, where all you post graduates can offer your infinite wisdom of how to write an effective personal statement, I'm sorry if this is a re-post, but equally not, so please no 'time wasters', just useful info please, about what you put in yours, what extra curricular activities you included and the way you set it out, also any links to decent sites would be much appreciated.

Hmm, I do know of a Daniel Walters, however he is from hastings. Est sussex. But one thing which makes me beleive it might be him is that he supports wales in't rugby! Anyhoo i'll ask him....

Practice makes perfect. I know how annoying these thing can get, but you've just got to stick at it. Try putting your opposite foot slightly further back to give you a bit more 'umph' when you take off, If you know what I mean.
The main thing is to get the movement upwards and tuck the backwheel right up.

I was trying to find some of the comments people made about it being fake, But i was overwhelmed by do gooding geeky trials riders posting things like "That is real, i can do it".

I used white spirit, and a bit of paper towel,And that worked really well. Its surprising how much sh!t comes off what looks like a clean rim.......

I'm not a physio, But i know that when I use my powerball, My arm does ache, And I do feel the benefits if its used properly. I think i got mine off ebay for about £17, I your are going to get one, Make sure you get one with a screen on as it quite handy, becasue it tells you th rpm, and any records you have set.
They are definately worth getting if you want to improve you wrist muscles and co-ordination.

They are sound bike to start on, Make sure you get one with mags though. The only thing you might want to change would be the standard black maggy pads. but other than that they are good starter bike, Go for it.

Why dont you just sleep in the car and the chances are, the chicks wil have sympathy on you freezing your balls off and let you stay inside? Drink driving is just suicide, think of the people you could hurt and the lives you could ruin.
I know its sounds a bit immature, but i am planning to get legless tonight, and i'd love to have the convienicence of driving
but i know you cant have one with the other (a bit like good looks and loyalty in a girl, oo mate), and im willing to get shanked by the weather if its going to give me the confidence to beak it down on the dane floor tonight, haha, what a loser.
Anyway, I expect you've already left, if you have, And your reading this in 6 weeks time whilst sitting in a back brace and a wheel chair then, Well, i feel sorry for you.
