Yeah, she's my daily driver. The 1.8 has plenty to offer if driven correctly. Wouldn't mind having a go in a VR to see how much that heavy lump up front effects the handling.
-
I know what you mean about the rear being a touch too high. May need some arch work to go lower (ill keep lowering it until she rubs)
Im afraid to say its only a mere 1.8 16v

A VW thread!
Here's my Corrado
(Warning - black bonnet may offend some users )

Keyboard setup to the right language?
Sys pref>International>Input Menu and make sure it's checked "British" and not any others, also if you tick "Show input menu in menu bar" a flag will come up, should be British, if it's not, then you know your problem.
Yeah my flag is british and still have the problem
(cheers for the quick reply though )

Hey, i'm getting angry with safari and currency symbols. For example - im getting €100 instead of the real currency symbol. (i think that one could be euro's)
I also get a funny 'a' with a hat on it instead of (again im assuming) the £ sign.
Whats the deal!?
Oh, and can anyone gime me advice on how to sort it. Cheers, Andy

Have another one! Again, around 5 years ago now - just a vid of general falling off and messing about!Youtube Video ->

I got a Pioneer 7000 UB about 6 months ago and I'm running a Formac 80gb hard drive to it. Works really well, although there is about a 20-30 second delay when you turn it on (while it loads all the tracks)
Its really simple to use although it can be fiddly while driving.
I used a blaupunkt unit before that which was just as good but not as nice to look at

ZOMBIE EDITION! - Back from the dead
-
Poor frame.
-
get a dmr, either moto digger or moto.
Or try and find a 2.4 holy roller.
I'm wanting to stick to more 'trialsy' tires if you know what i mean.
Cheers anyway
-
i ran mine with a ronnie rim on my zoot, theres a fair bit of tread on them, i could get a pic tomorow?
yeah, that would be great cheers.
-
Cheers, To be honest anything that actually stays on the rim will be a huge bonus
-
ooh. 24"?
can i have a pic of the tread. What did you run them in?
-
If anyone could tell me it would save me blowing £23 on the wrong rear tire....again.
(Sorry for not posting in the tire / frame thread, seems no-one gets a response there)
-
Yeah, got it powder coated
Might have to just go for the maxxis high roller tire wise. Although 2.7 sounds a bit wide
-
Had a few goes at getting it to sit right at various pressures today with no luck.
If anyone has any suggestions on a replacement I'm all ears.
-
Been for a ride today and i just cant seem to make it stay on!
Upon inspection when the tire was let down you could pull it away from the rim and see a huge gap (about 10mm) Im sure it was pretty tight when i put it on.
Im really disappointed because the 26 version of the tire performed so well on my old bikes.
Has anyone had any experience with them (hopefully mine is just a dud)
The rim is a DMR DV.
-
Topic title stolen! Nice to see another though.
-
What stem you running?
Its a Raceface Prodigy stem (100mm x 8o)
-
I thought these had all snapped...
Looks really nice that!
Cheers.
Yeah, this one is no exception. Its been welded (no bodge job) at the bb area. Ill upload a close-up if anyone cares
Should really take the chance to give a big shout out to my brother. (without his 'contacts' it wouldn't have been possible) so yeah, cheers

Saddle is the 'Shadow Conspiracy Slim Seat'
Thanks for the comments.

22-17 (old skool)
Couldn't tell you how she rides yet due to the snow
Not too sure about the bb7, it feels a bit spongey - If anyone has any setting up tips they would be much appreciated. It seems to feel at its best when the static pad is as close as possible to the rim.
-
Cheers guys, as for the car.... sadly its no more moved on to a mk2 golf but its just not the same.
Took quite some time deciding weather to go white with the rim or not. Looks much nicer in the flesh (as they all do)
