  1. Is there seriously a market for the three different sizes?

Sure there are a market for these 3 geo.

Atomz & Crewkerz always used 3 geo and we sold frames everytime.

Frame looks very nice! Graphics are cool! Colour looks great, the choice of geometry is really good and the attention to detail is second to none!

Any plans for a 24" frame yet?

Thanks and no plan for 24''.

  2. With a fork in 405 mm * 35 mm, Geometries will be :

    S : 1065 mm // 380 mm // +65mm // 72°

    M : 1075 mm // 380 mm // +65mm // 72°

    L : 1085 mm // 380 mm // +65mm // 72°

We use through axle, the geometries cannot change like on frame with horizontal dropout.

  3. I think that's primarily down to it being a totally different market here. In Europe it seems riders have bought into the idea of buying a complete bike from a company for the season, whereas in the US/UK people tend to buy frames then custom build the remainder of the bike. Riders here like the idea of the crankset, splined hubs/freewheels, etc., but not many people want to buy a complete bike.

Yes we knew it. To have a good bike our engeneers have to work on the complete bike and not only on the frame.

The frame is available and you can assemble the frame AS30 or Hashtagg/Tryall/Racing line BB30, All fork with a crown reducer, and all rear hub in 12 mm through axle. but you have to use our tensioner.

  4. Sorry if I'm agressive with my answers, my english is really bad, and I cannot defends my point of view with the simple english words.

I would like just say for us the name is not a priority, because it's impossible to have a perfect name. ''Inspired'' is a bad name for french people, because we don't have the good phonetic.

we sold only 2% of our Cleep production in UK, 0 Cleep in USA, and 98 % in the other country and Cleep was a wrong name for USA and UK. If we change the name, maybe we will sell more bikes in UK and USA, but less in the other country for the same reasons.

And about the name, we prefer push in our strong country.

But I said in UK and USA, the name is not the only problem to sell more bike, maybe the riders didn't accept to ride with a different bike without horizontal dropout,...

Sorry again, We have to be better about communication to explain our standard we use, spirit,...

  5. In this forum and OT forum, 90% posts talk about the wrong Crewkerz points :

    Names : Bad name

    Artwork : Color and design

Standard we use : AS30, Tapered, Tensioner

Weight : some hundred gr more than the other brand on the 26'' (20'' is close to the other brand and sometime lighter)

10% only talk about our good points :

    Warranty service

    3 geo on the 26''

    Strong bikes

    Quality/price for the Freed.

If we follow these forum our bike will use the ISIS, horizontal dropout, 1"1/8 headtube,....

Trial business is too small to work around the good name for each country.

Ah ok. So I had some of the details right, on some parts I was horribly wrong though!

Again that crank system looks really smart and beefy.

Is there a way that some sort of spline to thread adapter could be made for these cranks, to allow the use of a screw on sprocket?

As it is, If I was in the market for a new frame, this would be the dealbreaker, since I would have to give up using a Pro2, and I would actively avoid anything that would force me into using a freewheel.

We use shimano splines on these AS30 crankset. You can use Hope rearhub with thruaxle and splined (Shimano splines) sprocket instead the Freewheel on the crankset.

The last year, Jack Carthy used this combinaison.

  6. Why not ?

It's just a name, we cannot have a perfect name for everybody, there are always a problem with a country, language,... Sometime the name is perfect for English users, but it can be bad for a spanish guy,...

Jealousy name have a good success in France, Spain, Swiss, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Japan. But not a good succes in USA and UK. What can we do ? nothing. We cannot use different name for each country/langage.

We put energy on the engeneering not on the name. It's a key point for us. If the customers choose a bike only for the name, we can stop this business.

Same problem with Cleep and 100 % of production was sell in 3 weeks.

Easy to put a sticker on the frame to change the name.

if you have names idea for the future, your help will be good.

  7. It wasn't so much a problem with the replacement more the fact that you won't be selling the axles seperately. If my phone breaks and I send it to be fixed I can buy a cheapo temporary replacement to do the job whilst I wait for my phone to get sorted so don't have to go without one for days/weeks.

Also I mentioned the BMX style setup as that is already in use on a lot of trials frames so if you could incorporate the shimano style spline to fit a deng/spanish BMX bb axle you have a larger market open to buying your cranks/freewheel system.

Finally I'm not fully clued up on the pressfit cup setup but does it mean the bearings just slip into the cups and are held in place by the axle or are they again pressed into the cups?

Sure, It's not easy to wait 1 week without bike. but this is our way. Not the best but another way.

You cannot use an alloy axle with the BB Spanish. Pressfit 30 is the best way for ''us''. Our target are quality bikes and different bikes because some riders request this. We are not a big brand like Koxx, Monty, Echo, Onza, Ozonys,...

no need to pressed bearing into the cups.

  8. I can see where you're coming from with this but I have a few questions. You say if the axle should snap you offer a good warranty service but the broken pieces would need to be returned, does that mean you would need to have received the broken axle before replacing it as otherwise it would mean time off the bike for the rider?

Also surely the spline could be incorporated on a deng/bmx style press fit axle? And why go for the pressfit cups why not just pressfit bearings straight into the shell as per the bb30 standard?

Yes you have to send your defected parts before your free replacement. If you have a defected Iphone or Galaxy,... These company send to you a new phone or they wait to receive your defected phone before replacement. I thing it's normal !

We use pressfit standard, no spanish BB like Deng bikes. The pressfit cups are better than BB30 with integrated bearing in the frame for Trial, easier to change bearing,....

  9. Price list coming soon (February).

Today we are alone on this way, maybe we will be more in 2 or 3 years or not ! There is not a best way : ISIS or AS30 or SQUARE, FW with Splines or Thread ... It's just a other choice for the customer.

Perhaps 99 peoples want use a ISIS but 1 person prefer use a AS30. This is his choice.

You can like or not, you can use or not but this project exist and it's not for nothing.

  10. you cannot put chain and freewheel at the left side.

Shimano splines is a open free patent. Many brand make sprocket, hubs,... with these splines.

Don't worry if you broke axle or right crank. We have a good warranty service, and after warranty we can replace only the axle or crank but you have to send the defected parts in our factory.

Just to have a idea : We can propose 2 solutions :

Right crank + axle publics price with standard price

Right crank + axle publics price with special replacement price (If you are out of warranty) Around 60 €. Sorry if I am not really clear.

  11. AS30 use a pressfit 30 standard (Cups pressed in the frame)

BB30 is brearing pressed in the frame.

AS30 have shimano integrated splines on the axle

We use a shimano splines because it's easier for all manufacturer to produce FW, Axle,.... with this international Standard.

It's lighter, it's stronger (Bearings, axle) It's easier to clean, to replace a FW or change a bashguard,...

    And more ...

  12. ''Crew'' for the team, familly,...

    ''Kerz'' for the sound... Simply.

In fews weeks we turn on a mini website with all the 2D drawings to make this AS30. It's will be free. No patent and no licence. Easy to all the brand to use this standard.

It's crazy, no good for the money but really good for the customers.

  13. The 30 mm axle have the good size to make a shimano spline. You can put a Freewheel or a sprocket and use a rear hub with FW.

We have to progress we can't keep the ISIS system for the highlevel bike. The level riders is higher year by year. we have to prepare the future.

    (Sorry for my poor english)
