  1. you can camp at skipton auction mart (Y):) i think :P

as John said above.............looks like i had enter a team, altho i wanted a team to consist of OAP's, me, peacock, raven and John P's MAD MATE!!!! :D

    Wayne.

PS he who finds the most knarly line on sunday wins a booby prize!!!! it must be pretty dangerous though ;)

  2. Come on people. surely there are people who are entering that havent filled the form out????

as barbara has said this is a fund raising event all in aid of this one young man who may not be able to ride his bike again.....

please come and show your support, no matter if you think you are not good enough, it is the taking part that counts.

  3. OH!!!! 1 thing i have noticed, i hope my balls dont get amputated from them cable guiders on the limey3  i wouldnt be best pleased. :D

i like the holes in the chainstay plates, very sweet. if the 20" one with all the holes in the headtube is made in 26" then your onto a winner!!!! i think that one looks mint.

Forks are looking sweet, i think the test on the forks is going to be if stems will clamp onto the steerer well enough, that was my only bad thought about them at the meeting in nottingham a few weeks ago.

Rims are looking kool, is the one with square holes the tensile one you were talking about joe???

  4. hes got a stress problem ;) and he didnt get it off me.

spend/spent alot of time with jack one of the best riders for his age along with the likes of Tom Oliver and it is these boys who keep me riding, both Jack and Tom could become the new Ashton and Hawzee as a double act...... watch this space.

Cant wait for koxx days, should be a good do, im sure there will be a video of jack when we get back from there. keep up the good work Jack lad.

    Wayne.

  5. it deffinatly is different and i had already said to a few people they wouldnt like it because of the lack of riding. but the way chris had had to make everything from scratch, dont forget this video is to apply to EVERYONE who rides a bike, not just "trials" riders, this is why chris rides for mongoose.

his next vid will be much more impressive, but i think he sort of knew that it wouldnt please everyone, IMO the location and the "type" of riding suits everything about the vid.

The location is Denholme near where the "bike track" starts in the old mills on the right. no one will ever go there, because literally there is nothing to do in there unless you have a mind like Akrigg.

im sure chris is already aware of comments that there needs to be more riding etc. im sure the next one will prove that the riding is extremly amazing for the brakeless theme.

  6. i think from a stock point, and white being a popular frame colour, black rims are perfect, then it makes it easier on onza for stocking etc etc.

Joe when you get back give us a bell, we may need one of them meet up's pretty soon for some photo OGRAPHY!

could i ask a quick question???? where is andrei's proto??? because the 1 with the drilled headtube looks like it BUT its a 20" andreis bike will look pretty wikid, plenty of stand over.

Nice to see a british based company working WITH their riders and producing things for the riders. its a bit like Kona as a bike brand, they let the riders do the riding and go off their ideas. designed by riders for riders. (Y):)

i look forward to getting the proto type frame joe, have a safe journey back home. speak to you monday/tuesday.

  7. excuse the pun!!!

but FORK ME!!! them frames and forks look MINT !!!! :)(Y) top job.

white, just what we asked for.

cant wait for you to bring them all back for us to start thrashing!!! Dont forget, its koxx days soon. would be kool if all the onza team goes with their new steeds.

Top job fella's cant wait to get mine.

  8. i work in a shop bud and i will giver you advise from BOTH sides of the story.

    1) for you: if you were the original purchaser of the freewheel, and you can prove that great, take it to the shop with what it cost.

from THEIR: they will question you on the following:

    1) how old it was?

    2) had you played with it?

    3) where you bought it from?

you must be able to some how explain to them, you wont be able to prove it fully that you havent BEEN inside it, but if you explain that "this is why it was brought to your shop" kind fo thing, they will have to really look into it.

the other key issues you must consider is the following:

this freewheel, yes is expensive and you feel very un happy" with what your LBS have done, but what if they lad in the workshop like in ours have worked there YEARS and have top experience and training???? and it did actually fall apart??? i will accept if it was some young kid pissing around with the freewheel tool to remove it and he has mashed it then god i feel the shop would possibly have to replace the damaged part.

BUT if your going for a FULL new FREE freehweel they will possibly look at it and think there might have been soemthing wrong with it in the first instance. all i say is, tread carefully, keep yourself calm and collected. dont go off your head with them and they will possibly be ok about it.

just so i understand, which part is broken or nakerd? the lock ring? or the threads that the lcokring thread onto? or the 4 prongs that the freewheel tool fit onto????

i will admit, to REMOVE an ENO freewheel you MUST take them into bits to do so, so if he has not removed the lockring, then yes, the remover is at fault. (the reaosn for this is the freehweel tool does NOT offer enough purchase on the 4 prongs)

  9. FAB trial, just what i needed as a kick up the back side to get me back into it.

Sections for yellow and red were good (nice and tricky and some a bit hard) i think blue and green WERE hard, but that im sure will be rectified.

Congratulations to ALL who turned up and ALL who finished, it was a hard day with wind, rain, snow and hail stone, and a bit of sunshine thrown in for good measure.

Thanks to all the observers who braved the weather also, most of them seemed happy even after they had been through the pouring rain and the freezing cold hail stone.

  10. stroll on!!!!

not far away now. get the entries in ASAP if you can people as Barbara is "panicking" iv told her not to worry.

Porter, Bessel and Maher????? can you make it in a team with John Shrewsbury???? i think you should boys. would be a mint team. and good to see you lot up here.

    Wayne.

  11. their will be loads of places to camp on the glen ;) just turn up and pull onto the grass. bish bash n a bosh. sleep in the car there if you have to.

sounds like it should be a massive do, i think there is a couple of MAJOR points on this venue to respect!

    1) ALWAYS clean your own litter up! no throwing it on the floor

    2) HARD work went into getting this venue, dont undo it with un necessary behaviour.

    3) always respect passer by's and walkers. (ok so what if they say look at these BMX's with no seats!!!!) if they dont know, speak to them and explain, alot of people have a bit of time to talk to you. you respect them, they will respect you and what you do.

i might actually try get the day off work to come up see how Vincent is.....

    Wayne.

  12. can we have if possible please all entrants and teams to send their forms off ASAP so we can plan the possible layout of the event?

would just help with preparation etc etc.

    Regards Wayne.

  13. dont be sorry pat, we can tag team john, it wouldnt take much ;) hes only a yorkshire weed :P

hahaha - yes it is a very "rocky" and can be dangerous if bikes do roll off down the hill side (Y):)

    Wayne.

  14. white as a frame colour came into conversation alot. white seems to be the new black!!!!! :D

its deffinatly a colour in fashion, i cant wait for someone to be able to anodise white!!!! as my prototype "Pro Series" onza frame will be white. (hopefully) if not it will be sent to the local spray garage.

    Wayne.

  15. a bit of GT85 dont go a miss.

it was also always very handy for my good friend Mark feather, am sure if bucky see's this he will post in and advise why (Y):)

    LMFAO!!!!

But seriously GT85 is good (keep it away from discs though) it cleans and penetrates, and leaves your bike smelling nice.

    Wayne

  16. yer its nice and rocky rob.

its a mint place for climbers, so bike rock hopper bikes it is ace for :D:lol:

its on a hill side which is a bit of a nightmare, but the venue and the rocks is spot on.

    Wayne.

    Wayne.
