    Unicyclist coming along then... memories of last years impressive display. Damn good fun!

    Many thanks to the guys that were out in Southsea on Saturday for letting me get some shots of them to send in to Mr Ashton. I will be editing them tonight, and posting online. I will post the addy when they are up...

    Hopefully a few more of you will be up for the Sunday evening BBQ than last year, although we all hada good luagh....

    Ok. Lets keep this post as small as possible lads, or we'll end up with a mass posting that will take so damn long to read through.......

    If you are deffo coming, please PM the guy with the list above this post so we can include you and get the count accurate, and add me to MSN if you have any questions; i'll be online much more this week as the ride approaches.

    My postcode is PO5 1EH should anyone need somewhere to park.

    There are plenty of areas to park if you just drive around; but make sure any valuables are covered / taken out of the car... not that theft is prolific, but best to be on the safe side.

    Hi guys.

    Ok, 11 pages on the other topic now, so I thought i'd write up a new one to save you all ploughing through those pages to get the important details.

    Firstly.

    11am in Portsmouths Guildhall square. This is right next to Portsmouth and Southsea station, so you won't get lost.....

    Ride all day until you're knackered, and then sit down with some drinks of the fall down variety, and enjoy a BBQ.

    Job done.

    Johnny? You've injured yourself?@?? No way! Sorry to hear that, and I hope we are graced with your presence on the day.

    Yes, as Matt said, we need to start getting this thing off the ground now, and finalising a rough count for attendance.

    The Saturday evening will see some light entertainment and the Sunday evening will also have a few fluid things of the fall down variety on the go... so it would be good if some of you can attend these too.

    its a 15 minute train to brighton from lewes, then a 1hour 35 minute train to pompei. And... we are driving, we are camping out on saturday night not sunday because its more of a weekend away if we do, will be a laugh.

    is there going to be a BBQ at the end of it by the Pyramids this year ?

    We all chip in at the beginning, and someone goes and gets the bits.

    DON'T - Look at me for a rucksack. - I'm not even bringing a pump :|

    Who needs a rucksack? You could bring it all back in a box being as you suggested it...........

    There was a BBQ last year, but most people chose to leave due to the journey home being a bit of a distance...

    Those guys that were after somewhere to camp; why not pitch up on the beach if there's gonna be a few of you. I've kipped on the beach a few times after a few ales ;)

    I'm not on standby for work now, so i'm up for an after ride drink up down by the pyramids as last year.

    Hi all.

    Sorry, I forgot to mention that this is a Portsmouth ride again.. Most people know me, and that the ride would be here, but just to eliminate confusion.

    Also, If enough people are interested, I may be able to get someone to start a BBQ at the back of the pyramids, which would mean that when we arrived the food would be ready, or at least nearly ready. I guess if we all chipped in on the morning of the ride that person could get all the meat etc for the BBQ.

    Obviously, this ride is open to all ages and abilities; so don't stay away 'cause you think you're crap. Come for the fun and possibilty of meeting more riders of all abilities.

    Ben, I am sure I can put you up for the night. New place now ;)

    As last years ride was a success, I thought I should try and get a few of you all back into town, and to mark the occasion.

    I was chatting to some riders the other day who thought it would be a good idea to get a ride mentioned and off the shelf.

    I'll post on this thread when I get the date etc.. Some of the pictures were amazing.. and they were before the editing, so it's going to be worth buying the issue for that alone.. Although I dare say that when Mike D has finished them, and is happy with them he'll probably be able to print off and sell some of them if people are interested...
