  1. Thanks guys I had a general idea what to do with the bars but just needed to hear other people's opinions this has helped
  2. Having them more forward does feel comfortable but what I'm trying to get an idea about is, If I never knew how to pedal kick and I had my handle bars really far forward how will I know if its the handlebars or not knowing how to pedal kick is the reason behind it. So if someone else set my handle bars up for me and did a demonstration of the trick showing that its actually possible to do it is then I'd know to keep them like they are and get used to it so any pictures of the way other people have their handle bars would help because I can try and copy there's because it's obviously possible with the angle they are using because they can do the tricks Do you get what I mean ?
  3. Can everyone! Who reads this post upload a picture of the angle and tilt of the bars they ride with please I'm new to trials, my trial bike when I bought it had the handle bars already set up, I've started learning the basics but the other day I put the handle bars forward and I felt like i had more control when I was doing a pedal kick for example, But what I don't know is if I'm putting them too far forward, if that's going to stop me from learning new tricks in the future and I won't even realise that them being too far forward is limiting how I can move the bike. This is how they are now Any comments on how my handle bars are now ?
  4. Thanks my apology for not looking for the brake pad section before asking but il look on tartybikes see what ones I fancy Thanks again
  5. Hi guys, My bike now currently had hs33 magura brakes with Zoo brake pads, I'm just starting off learning trials and when I do a pedal kick the wheel isn't stopping as good as it should be but I can't be certain because I've only ever used one set of pads I can't compare, But I sent people comment on the Zoo pads saying they wernt that great anyway! Any suggestions what pads should I buy ? Thanks
  6. My first trial bike I've upgraded and changed a few parts. But I need to learn to be able to do tricks I'm only on the basics right now.
  7. Same it's the right one I messed up I'm going to keep checking there tight this time. My friend does downhill mountain biking and he uses a little blob of lock tight to glue it in and a little blob is a little too much and ur pedal might not come out again.
  8. I've got a spare Trialtech 165mm left crank you can have for free if its a left one you need
  9. Ok thanks il give it a shot il try getting use to these should take too long maybe 1 or 2 rides.
  10. Ye that's how it feels now you've mentioned it I thought It might have been because I haddent been on the bike for a week and I just forgot how it felt, I prefer 165mm but I going to stick at 160mm. How do you change it up a tooth on the rear sprocket? I don't actually know the difference between mod and stock but if you explain il only have to be told once, The bike I ride is a neon bow 20" custom spec identical to the 1 in my photo.
  11. When I first got my trial bike it was fitted with Trialtech 165mm cranks they broke so I replaced them with Try-All '160mm' cranks and I'm sure the bike feels different or is it just because I haven't been on bike in like a week. Anyone else had this or noticed this before. Should I just keep riding and get used to the 160 cranks, I got my first trial bike in march so I'm new and just trying to learn as much as possible.
  12. Ye my pedal was fine after I removed my with force too I think the pedal thread is steel and the cranks aluminium. But I've fitted Try-All cranks now that are 160mm and my old Trialtech ones were 165mm I'm not 100% sure but I think I can feel a difference or maybe it's because I haven't been on my bike for a few days. So I recommend if you get new ones get the same size.
  13. Ok cool at least I know roughly where to start from now.
  14. Hi I'm new to trials and I'm wondering if anyone can help me and let me know what tire pressures I should be using to practice, I'm practicing on pallets and curbs small obstacles ect.
