  1. Thanks a lot for the reply I really appreciate it...

So what I'm taking from your opinion is that it's not overly outdated so I should be fine to get out and ride round town with it (I don't have comps in mind at this moment in time) however you wouldn't recommend upgrading to any serious extent as its not a high end bike to begin with...

    Thanks again

  2. I've posted this in the "is this a good bike" sticky but fear it doesn't get the traffic that the main forum get so my apologies for the second post but I hope somebody sees this one! I have the possibility of buying an Adamant A3 I'll look to get a picture up to aid with your help...

    specs are

    Adamant a3 frame
    Magura Louise fron disc brake
Magura hs33 rear brake (shimano lever)
    Riser bars
    Trialtech cranks
    Echo hubs
    Rockman pads
    Echo headset and stem

However I am not overly sure on the bike itself and it's quality... That only being said as it's not the typical "onza" bikes you see quite regularly on sale websites. Is this bike very old/outdated therefore giving myself a disadvantage at learning trials or is it in fact a bit of a find!?

Would someone mind giving this newbie a bit of help!! Thanks

Edit: if you could suggest what sort of price range in should be looking at aswell that would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  4. This helps a lot! Really appreciate the reply... At least I can start to pencil in a cost for these products and what I'm looking for.... Any opinion on the T-PRO frame? A £20 find so in thought it had to be worth a go as a base frame.

  5. Hello everyone! My first build is under way I have acquired an onza T-PRO frame but this is going to be a complete build.

My appeal is for help with the setup on the bike.

I am looking for some ideas of what to be looking for in a hub/bb/crankset/freewheel (front preferred) etc. I have trawled tarty and trials addict but I am slightly blown away with the choice an I'm struggling to know what is compatible with what.

So to recap if anyone could put together a shortlist of what would be a complete setup for effectively the "drivetrain" of the bike.

Please keep in my im no sponsored rider with an unlike budget!! Haha

    Any replies are appreciated

  6. Good evening everyone.

Does anyone have written down or stored somewhere the geometry for the onza T-PRO. I'm aware the newer models are just called PRO but this is definitely the T-PRO.

It's the silver\grey frame with the white onza stickers.

    I really appreciate any help.

  7. Sorry hadn't seen that you had replied. I'm in Kent and I have been looking at a fair few bikes on eBay/Gumtree etc.

The issue I have (as I'm sure many do) is price for a bike. However I am happy and in honesty id prefer to grab a real "doer-upper" at a cheap price that I can really put my stamp on.

    Thanks

  8. Just looking for peoples thoughts on an onza rip as a base bike and its compatability with parts to make it more of a custom build and to my preferred spec (when I find it!)

Reason I ask is that I can pick up a RIP fairly cheaply locally for about £150 but would be very keen to use this bike as a platform to upgrade and make my own.

For example does it have the ability to install a wider rear tyre or discs etc rather than the more "bolt on" components.

Thank you in advance and I hope to hear and get involved more as I grow with this sport!!

  9. ozonys curve, neon bow, monty kamel, a RCP steel mod

Looking to build my own mod but still very new to the mod scene... Using this as what I would think is a cracking looking bike, what would the costing be of a build like this? (Roughly of course)

    Thanks for any help

  10. Looking to respray my bike and give her a bit of a face lift. Has anyone had custom stickers/decals call 'em what you will made.

If so where from? How essy are they to get right? Rough prices? Past experiences...

    Thanks
