  1. Thanks guys! I'm working out a budget in the next few weeks, depending on if a contract comes in or not! I'm buying for my wife too, so I might need some pointers, although she has her heart set on an Onza Zoot.
  2. I agree on the van! I found this setup info on Sicklines http://www.sicklines.com/2007/03/08/what-the-pros-ride-jeff-lenoskys-giant-stp/ It's basically a Giant STP as far as I can make out, with a few mods. I have seen a STP frame on eBay, plenty there! And I'm not averse to building a setup, as I've had to do since I was in school, I'm thinking a build is not a bad way to go. Any tips on building this or similar? (I'm limited as to posting until I get 3 more approved posts today) Thanks guys! Big FakeBob80
  3. Hi Guys My wife and my best mate reckon I'd best get on here to find out the best options for a trials bike for a man-mountain such as myself, to augment frequent trips to the gym (not just to drink coffee in their bar!) and get some weight off, build core strength and have some fun. Having been an avid cross country rider (is that swearing on this forum? I will have to check the rules!) and giving it up 10 years ago when I started university, I need to get back doing something to burn some flab. I was 6'8" and 12st back then and I'm now (still 6'8") 17st, after whomping on 7st in 5 months at uni and only managing to lose 2st since then! So, my question for you guys is: what bike/frame/setup would you recommend for a giant like me to start trials riding? My best mate is a mere waif of a chap and will ride anything, but he's not much good on advice! Thanks for your help Big FakeBob80
