  1. just take it by the day, if you started upping 28" at the start and can do 32" smoothly on your last move its been worth it.

as alot of people have said, when your getting stressed at gapping, try some flowing lines on a curb.

you dont have to go massive to have fun riding your bike.

  2. pretty much no one apart from smokers wants to defend it. never mind saying non-smokers have a blind spot about your points, you lot have a serious blind spot about how much you stink. Sounds petty, but you work in a confined space for a few hours with a smoker and you'll pretty much want to brain them with their lighter....

goes 2 ways, only non smokers will say smoking is stupid blah blah blah.

i used to be a stong anti smoker, when i lightened up a bit, accepted what happens in the world and tried it, i enjoyed it.

i wont smoke inside a non smokers house/non smoking areas, because i down want to make someone else smell.

  3. nowadays the 'pollution' produced by cars is a lot less harmful that say, 10 years ago.

Catalitic convertors and other new fangled trickery takes care of that for us, if car pollutions really damaged our health directly then i think we would have noticed and done something about it by now.

Plus i've never heard of anyone getting lung cancer or other problems as a direct cause of car pollution.

if it wasnt bad for us, why have we got all this "new fangled trickery" to save us from pollution that doesnt exist?

driving a car makes carbon monoxide which is pretty much anti air (nothing can breath it, and if it does, it dies).

its makes holes in the ozone layer, killing forests (our air to breath) and gives us extra UV rays which gives us skin cancer.

not too healthy as it is, and getting worse.

I have however heard/seen many people getting ill from smoking and it's proven fact that it damages you health, it even says it on the packet.

I would much rather run behind a modern car/truck for an hour than sit next to a smoker for 15 minutes.

ill agree with this, because its true.

but ive got free will to smoke, when i like, and its not that bad for you in moderation, especially if you do the exercise to compensate for it.

when people loose moderation (40 a day) they get lung cancer. i hope no one on here smokes that much, and i know for sure i dont.

i havnt had a shisha in ages, but its got me thinking about one.

do the people who have them on here use coals for the top?

  4. That it kills you, and costs almost 1/3 of the average persons salary. Or around £1,000 to £2,000 a year depending on how much you smoke. Don't believe me? Work it out.

Not to mention its considered anti social amongst most groups of people and has so many other effects.

well Si, i just did the maths.

im not a hardcore smoker, those statistics are for people who smoke 20 a day, im on about 5-6 (alot to a non smoker, little to people who are on 40).

i spend (on average) £260 a year on tobacco alone. not alot better i could spend it on (IMO)

toking gana (just a £10 a week, as said on here) is £520 a year.

    see the difference?

as for sociality of it, i know alot of people who hate smoking, and i do get abuse for it (including close friends). It doesnt stop me being myself.

yet i know alot more people who smoke and alot of them are close friends, so im happy with it.

  5. im smoking right now, its not too clever, but im still able to ride (when my bike works), still able to get on with my day and i enjoy it.

the only downside is the money involved, but i dont mind spending it.

i started because oneday i got offered one and enjoyed it.

if i had a reason to stop, i would.

  6. absolutely luscious, girppy, never slipped (with a bit of spray paint for extra hold) feel great, not too thick, not too thin.

and they wear into the shape of your hand. no gloves needed.

  7. or use Gaim

its the Linux version of MSN

its got trick bits like tabbed conversations, and opens in fire fox as default.

you can set an alias to every person in your list (YOU choose their names)

easier to have multiple accounts on it.

it also tells you when some one closes the window, blocks or deletes you.

    feel like annoying some one?

you can set a "pounce" to send a set message every time they type.

other than that its got everything that MSN 7 does, exept easier to use and a friendlier lay out.

and you can download loads of skins for it.

if you like firefox, you'll love this.

  8. Locktite Superglue, prior to sanding down and dampening.

ill be surprised if that sticks for more than 20 seconds.

nowt wrong with making pads (not that ive done it) just USE ARALDITE!

your brain thats going to be on the floor at the end of the day

  9. its a little pointless as if its steel it will bend, just like the rotor, probably taking the rotor with it (if its a hard enough ding to pringle a rotor anyway)

if its a light alloy, it will just snap instead of bend.

as said, a rotor can be bent back any way.

i've managed a sidehop to rotor, without cheesing it, it works if you land straight down on it, so the force doesn't bend it (jammy landing i know)

but if you feel like making one, theres nowt stopping you.

something to fill a day i suppose.

  10. msn is dull if you have it, but frustrating if you dont, and at the moment im frustrated with it.

any one got an idea of what to do with it? (apart from hit it with a hammer)

if i try to open msn 7 it sais "an error has occoured and must now shut, send an error reprty thing?"

so i downloaded 6.2 (again) and when trying to sign in it sais a newer version is availible, download it now?" click on no and it stops signing in.

any ideas how to solve it? i cant find the dont update automaticly switch, which is my best guess (if it exists)

and obviously i am connected to the internet.

  11. nah the maxxis 2.5 isn't that big, only very slightly bigger than an irc kujo 2.35 (Y)

that sounds about the right size, as thats what im running, and it feels lush.

We sell maxxis maxx daddies at work (Y)  They look pretty good in 24"

    would that be halfords perchance?

  12. ahh i know the overall awesomeness of maxxis, but didnt realise they did them in 24"

do they come in a 2.2?

i dont like these massive tractor tyres, just too squidgy, it feels like theres nothing there, ontop of the tyre clearance problems.

the only regret i have about going to 24 is no more comp 24 (Y)
