Yeah, but I dont see your point in that scenario the arsey people are the chavs, which are the ill informed, who are shouting at the trials rider who like I said, probably isnt that bothered about it. In this scenario, you are having a go at the misinformed little knowing trials rider who doesnt know the ins and outs of the music scene. Its the other way around to the chav-trials rider scenario - making you the one being like a chav and having a right go where its not needed?
I'm just saying it's the same situation, you get pissed off, I get pissed off.
What so because i ride trials i don't believe in or have interests in anything else? you need to chill out a bit. what monkey said was a reasonably funny remark and your reply was way too harsh even if you strongly disagreed with it, and then calling tomm a c**t for a small comment was so unreasonable, is this what this 'sXe' lifestyle entails? the need to act like an utter twat? sounds like a good lifestyle to me :Dps nice put down btw 'You ride a bike over logs' look right to the top of the page and you will notice its a TRIALS forum therefore you are here because you do or want to do the same. doesn't really work that comment on here does it.
I have never claimed to follow any sort of sXe lifestyle, as I am sat here under the influence of a few fantastic beers, and I spent all day yesterday recoving for one hell of a night on Saturday. If you're really intrested in the sXe then look it up on google because my phoen is ringing so i must go.

Nice argument, but it seems most people while they may be slightly annoyed about the misinformed idea that people have about little seats on our bikes, they dont care enough to have a huge go at anyone that says it. I dont know anyone that has bothered to get abusive at someone because they said something about their seat from an uninformed view.
Have you not seen the rants on here about chavs who say things about small seats/no seats?
To be fait I was a bit harsh to Tomm, he's a good guy and I like him, with regardes to Monkey I have said all I want to him via PM's.

how is sXe a style of emo music? The sXe scene is completly diffrent to whatever people on here think the "emo" scene is.
It's like a music fan saying "hur hur hur your bike has no seat." you get pissed of when people rip on the trials scene, so why does someone have no right to get pissed of when you rip on a music scene tthey enjoy?
I'd also like to point out that sXe isn't a trend it's been a very large part of the punk music scene since's the 80's. It's also a hell of alot more of a lifestyle choice than a trend.

I've just finished my A-levels this year, so I'm out of school.
I was initially gonna go to uni, but that's all kinda fallen through (well, I knew it had a while back...). I'm looking into moving away from here (tiny little town, no job prospects, not much really good riding, no near skatepark :P I'm hoping to just basically get a job I'm going to be interested in, probably in a bike shop or something like that.
I don't have it 100% mapped out at the moment. I've given my CV out to people so they can consider me when they have vacancies next, but it's just a fairly slow process.
I could've gone into clearing with the results I had and might've got onto a decent course, but at the moment I simply don't know what I want to do. I might try again in a year if I fancy doing a degree in something, but with top-up fees I might just sack that idea off.
Either way, I don't really see that there's anything wrong with just going from school into a job. Saying that, I'm not just going to do any job just for the sake of having one, I'm just focussing on getting one I'm going to enjoy doing. I've got a load of time to choose, so I just want to get all my shit together and find somewhere nice. I wouldn't really have any problem with doing 9-5 for some days a week and just riding and having fun the rest of the time, really.
Same as Mark really, espically that last bit, apart from swap riding with going out to gigs.
I have a few ideas that will be worked on over the next few weekends, maybe I will come up with something f**kign awesome. I hope so anyway.

haha k, i wasn't very clear, but i heard common sense and initiative are useful traits to develop.
what i mean was, what if back in the day when all pc's did was create words to be printed out via dot matrix, if people said, oh wow, this pc melarky is amazing, lets not develop it any further, who needs to play music, watch videos, design, create and output amazing things on a pc, when word processing is so great.
then the pc of today would be sucky sucky bum ring.
instead people took it further and further and nowadays most of out lives are revlove around a pc in someway.
Why not develop consoles into multimedia devices. Life is abotu evolution, noone wants to play 2d sonic adventure forever.
Why not just have a cd player and a console?
I din't get why you have to mate them.

That's a fair point Ben, I used to think you was a bell, but you always make good points in topics, i have no beef with you. Stuff should get to me the way it does, maybe I found something in MrMonkeys joke very unfunny because it has effected something in my life in a majour way.
Why should i have to humour people that I don't like. Me going off one one was more just because off the way I dislike MrMonkey, also read the point I made to Ben above this.
